About Aidan
Hello, I’m Aidan, a dedicated biology student at Durham University. My academic journey, from an apathy towards science early on to developing a life’s passion for biology (thanks to a remarkable teacher), has uniquely positioned me to understand the challenges you might be facing. I’m excited to channel this experience into becoming your ‘personal guide’ in biology, bringing clarity and interest to complex topics.
With patience, empathy, and an emphasis on creating a judgement-free, chilled learning space, I want to nurture your innate curiosity, help you tackle difficult concepts, and most importantly, lead you to your own personal revelations in the subject!
As a young student myself, still navigating the world of academics, I bring a fresh, relatable perspective to tutoring, bridging the gap that can often exist with more traditional, ‘one size fits all’ teaching methods. This creates comfortable, understanding, and productive learning opportunities for both of us.

Navigating biology’s intricacies 1-on-1, my hour-long sessions offer GCSE and A-Level students a judgement-free, relaxed learning environment. As a once-tutored, now university biology student, I emphasise personalising each lesson, merging student led methods with active recall style evaluation, to improve understanding and convince each student of a deeper appreciation for the subject.
