About John

I’m private music teacher for over 10 years. I play and teach piano/keyboard, drums and guitar. I’ve played and performed in various bands. I play all styles of music, but specialise in gospel, soul, jazz and funk music. I can teach both kids and adults.

About the lesson

The main aim is to get the student playing confidently and being able to perform on their chosen instrument. Covering all styles and becoming a good listener are also important skills to have. Encouraging regular practice and consistency is needed.
