I am a Primary School Teacher and work full time in Key Stage 2. I am offering lessons in all primary subjects whether your child is Gifted and Talented or just needs a little extra support. With working in school, I am fully DBS checked and have experience working with children aged 4-11. All lessons are catered to meet the needs of individual learners.
I am a teacher with years of experience of teaching primary school age children. I use a variety of teaching styles so as to tailor each piece of learning to individual children. I make lessons fun, exciting, stimulating and relevant.
I first understand the students current curriculum and look at past papers to see what the examiners are looking for. I then take the time to see how and why the person is doing well and or struggling. I believe that anyone can learn anything as long as someone takes the time to talk to them and let them learn in a way that suits them. With patience and an open mind anything is possible.
Hi there! My name's Elly and I've been teaching at university level since 2012. For the last three years I've been a Teaching Fellow at the University of Leeds in the School of Design. Hi, I’m Richard Smith a Private Tutor based in the Leeds-Bradford area who offers face-to-face plus online tutoring from GCSE to Degree Level. I teach age 14 and over, including adults and seniors. I have been Teaching since October 1990.
I am available to pick up children from school and take them home - can make their dinner if required and any other jobs. Also available to tutor in all academic subjects up to GCSE level. I believe that it is important to find a style of learning that works best for the individual, whether this be creatively or a more traditional approach.
I am a PhD candidate in Linguistics and I also teach English in a Secondary School.
My teaching would involve one to one help for pupils from primary school level up to AS Levels. I am currently studying at Leeds University and have completed my A Levels in maths, biology, and German. I am patient and good at identifying the needs of a student, and adapting my teaching methods to suit the student, and providing them with clear and simple explanations for the subject material.
Will provide classroom training and willing to come home and teach academic courses and will provide training if required
I am a an expwince teaching who has the capability to teach English to students of all levels.I use various strategies to approach needs of individual student.I offer one to one sessions to stu dents which os me beneficial .
I have been working in education as an academic or language mentor since completing my A-Levels in 2012. I do have experience of teaching classes and small groups, but I most enjoy working on a one-to-one basis. I find this is the best model for communicating and consolidating knowledge, as well as, crucially, ensuring academic skills are practiced and refined.
My teaching method is simple I approach student according to his level I use daily examples for explaining things.
I believe teaching should be as creative and fun as possible and recognise children learn in so many individual ways, structuring learning according to needs. I enjoy giving children self-belief and confidence to be the best they possibly can be.
I am a third year PhD student at the university of Huddersfield and I do give tutorials to both undergraduate and postgraduate students in law. I engage with students at a personal level as this gives an opportunity to explain in detail the subject under review.
My name is Maciej,(pronounced Maji), but just call me Maj. I'm a very easy going person who understands 100% what it's like for Y11's going through their GCSE's.I'm currently studying a Business Degree at Huddersfield University. Despite this, I've always loved English. I excelled at it on school.
I teach English Language and Literature at all levels from Primary to Undergraduate. I am also studying for a Masters Degree which combines the study of neuroscience and psychology with education. That is my approach to teaching, too. I teach in ways that work with my students' minds and brains to provide them with the best education possible.
My method is heavily based on a creative style where children have a wide variety of resources and challenges. I also believe in helping children to become independent globalised learners. Making sure children feel confident and have tools as well as embedding growth mindset into their studies.
I believe that the main problem with ADD and ADHD is in a lack of understanding. It is imperative to learn how to learn and communicate effectively within the academic context to achieve your dreams. Whether you are 4 or 40 you can learn new ways of achieving success.
I approach each student as an individual. I start where the student is and build up their confidence to achieve success.
My teaching method includes use of interesting material and encouraging active engagement and creativity. I endeavour to teach close reading of texts by encouraging the student to see deeper meanings and make connections and I teach technical and creative writing.
I use a very engaging approach in which I talk the learner through the concepts and then allow the student to seek clarification of the areas that may not be clear to the learner. Subsequently, I will then work with the learner to do exercises and case studies to complement the interactive session. Will support the student doing their tasks as may be required for their programmes.
