I am a passionate, enthusiastic and resilient newly qualified teacher of mathematics. I'm trained to teach children in the 11-18 age range (secondary school) . However, with my Qualified teacher and PGCE status, I can teach in primary school too. I believe every child should be encouraged to explore how far they can go to achieve their very best in mathematics.
I like to make teaching more versatile, and try and teach through real-life examples. I feel the biggest problem with teaching is that they don't make all the problems and learning applicable to real-life and hence people don't engage with the content as much.
My teaching method is very vibrant and hands on. I like to set the pupils ever more challenging and inspiring questions. I talk them through how to do something and then set them the task. I tend to use some online recourses but also the students own maths books. I also usually set the student questions to do at home which I then discuss next time.
I will issue each student a check list on all the GCSE topics and will also provide them with specific homework set about the class we just had. I am very understanding how different people cope with maths and I am able to help all types of people better themselves and become good at maths. Previously, I tutored a girl who was predicted a D at GCSE to get a B within the space of 2 months.
Since I am a Further Maths student, I am finishing my full A-level in Maths this year and I feel confident tutoring anything from addition to any topic from the A-level syllabus. Whenever working with someone, I prefer to focus on areas which they don't feel so good about, explaining the topic piece by piece until all is digested and fully understood. After that, there's practice - lot of it.
hi, my name is talha, I am currently doing my A levels I know that maths is not many students strongest subject, however, I am happy to help them out. I will be able to teach students who are currently doing their GCSEs and also students 15 and under.
I will be giving lessons to students who are looking to take their math or economics exam up to A-level. For maths I'm expecting to cover areas where the student may be struggling in and go over topics which the teacher may have not taught well.
I love to explain methods in a way that my student will enjoy. I make sure concepts are practices thoroughly as that's the best way to learn.
I am an 18 year old student studying at the University of Warwick. I have achieved an A* in both Maths and Chemistry at a-level. I can understand students who may be struggling at school or need extra help because I had to get through the hard works myself just a year ago.
I offer tailored tuition to meet every client's need. My tuition is based on a wealth of knowledge gained during my academic years as well as it's application in my engineering work experience.
Qualified dental nurse wanting to pass knowledge on to secondary and primary school students. Making things interesting and fun helps to keep them in your mind and makes you more eager to learn. A flexible method of tutoring tailored to individuals wants and needs from the sessions.
My students consist mainly of determined year 10 and year 11 students; some of my students have moved up several sets in their subjects and are now taking the higher paper, now aiming for A/A* grades instead of taking the foundation paper.
I have been a maths teacher teaching maths to pupils ranging from KS2 to adults. I was head of maths at a local primary school. Since leaving teaching in schools I have been teaching maths privately at home. I see a real improvement in both the pupils' ability and confidence. I have a love of maths and really enjoy teaching it.
