Learning FRENCH has never been easier !!! I'm french native speaker and live with my familly in Radyr. As a tutor, I can help learning vocabulary, writing, reading, translation, grammar and practice oral skills. I am also able to give lessons about business and banking vocabulary , I have 12 years of experience in a French Bank as a customer advisor.
I teach any age and any play-ability. I am happy to coach someone who wants to be classically trained although I am not fully classically trained myself. I have been playing the piano for about 13 years now, although I am from America so have no official qualification of this.
I've been tutoring for years and am well qualified and equipped to tutor anything from reading and writing improvement to CV assistance. I am based in Cardiff however am more than happy to tutor remotely and cater to the needs of whomever I'm tutoring.
My Methodology when conducting Personal Training or Coaching Swimming is set to the needs of the individual or group that I am taking. Regardless of age or ability you will find once you have had a session with me all your ambitions and goals suddenly become achievable.
The way I learn new songs fast, (even the complicated ones) is by seeing a logical pattern in the music, then use your intuition to glue whichever method suits "you". I personally pursue (the magic of) Chords. Once the songs basic melody is in your head, without sight reading the sheet music or listening by ear, repitition is the final step to cement it into place.
Each student deserves a tailored approach that suits their individual personality, intent and musical interests. However, each beginner learns to breathe, how to hold their instrument and how to play a handful of notes, before - soon enough - getting some tunes in their head! This can be done by reading or by ear, or both, and then we build from that point.
According to me, teaching is, above everyting else, based on sharing. I love the idea of exchanging with someone with different abilities and being able to share those ones. I am well aware that learning a foreign language is not such an easy thing, that's why trust between the tutor and the student is essential. Teaching is to me a field where everyone gets something in the end.
My teaching method will be to work around the exams themselves. firstly by solidifying all the knowledge needed based on the criteria set by your exam board. Then moving onto planning short and long mark answer questions and finally writing essays under timed conditions.
A dedicated, reliable and experienced foreign languages tutor. Fluent in Italian – her native language-, English and French with a passion for teaching people of all ages. In addition to theory and exercises, I make learning more interactive by using games, roleplay and videos to develop creativity and make the lessons more memorable.
As a dyslexic learner myself, I tend to make my teaching methods very visual, through the use of videos, images, brain storms, colour coding. I have worked in various primary and secondary schools in Cardiff, with pupils from a range of abilities and backgrounds, doing 1-1 with children with special educational needs. Therefore I feel confident to provide tutoring up to GCSE level.
My teaching method is a very relaxed approch with alot of time spent on identifying faults and improving on them. With that I look at a very wide range of compositional techniques from specific instrumentation per genre to basic theory techniques.
The aim of my classes is to boost fluency and enhance grammatical accuracy through a communicative approach- focusing on the four main language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening.) This is how I studied for my degree (in French and Spanish) and therefore, how I have subsequently taught English.
I teach to groups of jobseekers using a core topic, e.g., personal effectiveness or customer service. Responding to the needs and learning style of each group member, I help develop team work and self-confidence by slowly challenging the learner's knowledge and skills through group interaction and role play.
For beginners, I focus more on the "phonetic method", which enables them to start speaking the language and have conversation in a very short times. For intermediates who wish to go further, we deepen our knowledge with Arabic grammar, dictation, conversation and figures of speech.
I am a university graduate and I have a lot of experience when teaching children. I was a substitute teacher for 3 years before I got the chance to teach my very own class. I find teaching exhilarating and fun.
My teaching method is student-centered learning. I adopt this method of teaching because it connects studies with assessments to help the student understand the law better. This intern improves the student's overall performance and confidence. I take the approach that there is no stupid question and if there is a question I can not answer on the spot I will always get back to the student later.
I draw on ancient teachings of meditations adapted for the modern mind-set. With a Master's degree in Tibetan Buddhist philosophy I understand how the human mind works, how it can be transformed to work for us, not against us and how to bring out positive qualities of each individual. I offer 1 hour sessions which include guided techniques, insights and answer questions.
I primarily teach Vinyasa Yoga (Flow Yoga) this is great for increasing strength, tone, flexibility & posture.
I understand the need for that little extra help here and there, so I will cater my lessons to you. We can mould a lesson plan together around your worries and perhaps, weaknesses, meaning we can shape a better future for your subject.
I base my classes on the students needs and I have a great cultural knowledge that I like to add.
I like to approach essays by comparing them to film-making. A film much like an essay has a beginning, middle, and end and has an audience that it is trying to reach. In order to inform, persuade or entertain the audience you must make the beginning interesting, the middle engaging, and the end conclusive and concise.
My teaching style will be catered to the students needs, however, my aim is always to help the student develop their individual creativity; a greatly freeing and inspirational process. My lesson structure is flexible, but can cover very wide aspects of photography, from detailed technical advice to planning a project or how to capture nature in its true majesty.
We will be doing our sessions via email. You will have to complete certain tasks in a certain time frame and email them back to me. We'll also have catch up Facetime calls once a week to recap on the weeks work and progress.
I base my lessons around the Suzuki Method of music teaching but am happy to work with students towards the ABRSM grade exams if they so wish. Much of my lessons revolve around learning solid technique through a vast variety of music.
I favor a problem based approach as this allows students to build confidence and transferable skills. Finding the aspect of your subject that you are passionate about makes learning a lot easier; I aim to help you find that enjoyment.
I focus on the 4 skills (speaking, reading, listening and writing) and adapt them to the student's goal and needs. We try to have very dynamics and motivating lessons. If the student has enough time, we can have weekly homeworks which help to consolidate what we've been studying.
I have mainly worked with beginners, however, have had some students progress onto higher ABRSM grades (grade 7). I take a structured approach with absolute beginners in helping them find their way around the keyboard and basing lessons on starter books, but then base following lessons on what the student wants to progress in.
I carefully prepare the structure of the lessons, adjusting them to the needs of the student. I organize and plan in advance each module that will be carried out, with a very visual and fun methodology. I like to offer my students tools to improve the language at home.
I'm a student looking to earn some extra money by tutoring. This tutoring would be fit around my degree and I am looking for AS/A Level philosophy or religious studies students in need of help or just a bit of extra reading in their studies. I pride myself on being very relaxed and attentive when students have particular difficulties with certain topics.
My teaching method is based on understanding mark schemes and enabling student to write in a way that is specifically required by the exam board. I also engage the students by making their weaknesses a priority and engaging with them in a way that increases confidence and thus ability.
