Always follow your dream, music is dor everyone and I can help you dive into your dreams and passion. I can teach you all sorts of techniques and help your love of music fuel. I feel that the best way for people to learn is to initially identify any weakness and work through problems together, giving them confidence to work through these independently. Following the curriculum is key, therefore it's important to look through examples of past exam papers and current work from their teachers to ensure they are going to achieve the best possible grades.
I believe that visual learning is very important, when I think of verb structures I still picture my teacher’s format on the black board.

My teaching method differs depending upon the person I am working with. No child learns the same way as another, so I prefer to try to understand the current learning methods of a child and develop a method suited specifically for that child. I find that providing children with a reward of some kind at the end of tutoring also helps depending on age as it motivates them towards aching a goal.
My teaching methodology always varies based on the child, and the topic. Some topics are best taught practically, however some are better being taught academically. Some students also learn better in different ways too, when teaching in schools you have to cater for differing learning abilities.

I teach by firstly asking what the student would like to learn (e.g. performance based work) and then find out what they know/can do already so that I have an idea on the level they're starting lessons with me at. Then I'll teach them different skills, techniques and knowledge that they will require in an engaging way by incorperating them into songs that the student would like to learn.
