I give maths lessons to students that struggle with the basics or with a specific subject. I myself aquired a grade 7 in maths at gcse which means I would be capable to teach students of a young age or students that struggle.

My role a secondary school pastoral tutor, spans over twelve years to support targeted students who were underachieving and students who had been excluded on a permanent or fixed term basis. I worked alongside the Deputy Head Teacher, subject teachers and support staff. My role involved securing alternative education, one to one tutoring and mentoring.
I believe that learning a language, first and foremost, is a natural ability, not a science! You don't need confusing matrix tables and a list of 100 words hanging for months in your bathroom. All you need is simply that - daily interaction with the language in any form (music, TV, videos, books etc.
I teach through a variety of unambiguous, fun, simple and constructive methods. 1) Visual imperative: Using photos/images/diagrams relevant to the core subject/task, I use a multitude of pictures to explain the meaning/point of the photo in relation to the objective at hand in the simplest, most effective way.
I am 19 years old. I have taugh Spanish before to a whole class of year 8 and year 9 students. I quite enjoyed it. Therefore, I would like to help anyone that wants to learn or improve their Spanish. I have done GCSE Spanish and ALevel Spanish in England so I know how they work aswell.
I base my classes on the student's preferences and priorities on what subjects or topics they are most interested in or need more assistance in. I adapt to the level the student prefers, and that is on what I base the structure of my lessons, although we usually start by small conversation to get into the language and be more fluent the rest of the class.
I believe the best way to pass exams and to learn is by getting stuck in. I will instruct my pupils to constantly be working, making the lessons about them and their growth, and less about me. I will help with any issues they have and always help them but they must work hard.
I believe in catering to the student, whatever works best for you I will cater to. Personally I learnt audially/visually, but have experience in helping people who learn better by “doing” and reading.
I can understand why History and other essay-based subjects can be tricky. In my experience, it is these essays which prove the MOST trouble for students at GCSE and A-level as it requires an ability to communicate ideas coherently. Therefore, my lessons would focus on this skill as well as building chains of analysis which is key to any essay-based subject.
I will make lessons easily accessible and useful for students in terms of planning essays and hitting mark schemes. I will approach each session with a different question, which we can work through together and create a model essay for each question proposed.
My teaching method is simple; ask questions and we answer them together. You will be treated as a classmate more than as a student for me and I will give the most time. I am looking forward to helping more students. If my way of teaching is not ideal, tell me your way and we will do it like that.
I approach skating as a fun sport, so my classes are exactly that. Simple, fun and a great way to get healthy. I aim to get you progressing with ease and confidence. After assessing ability I will aim my classes at mastering elements of rollerblading: balance, control, speed, flow, technique, style, and of course the basics. Lessons do not include rollerblading equipment.
I would like to give lessons to GCSE or A level students in either History, Politics or Economics. My methods include teaching you revision and learning techniques that you can apply outside of our lessons and potentially to other subjects. I would tailor classes to individuals as these subjects can vary significantly in content as well as exam structures, and of course everyone learns differently.
I am a patient and careful teacher who begins with the basics and builds language like a puzzle coming together. I believe every student is an individual and needs to be taught in a unique way so I am adjust my teaching style to work best for you.
I base my teaching on transformational strategy which I learnt from Tony Robins course and also I have been using in my Spiritual work . I have found this very effective and helpful to deal with blockages in peoples lives .
What worked for me during my studies were things like making quizzes in particular, and making memes or humour out of things I needed to learn. Essentially just relating it in my own words, experiences, and way of thinking. I would help students think about the periods they are studying in ways that make them more relatable and funny (or at least as much as some of the grimmer bits would allow).
My teaching method is relaxed if I am relaxed the student is relaxed, topics will be made in advance also the student can choose what they think they should learn aswell.
My teaching method is interactive. Not just to talk about things students could read in the text books, but to explain concepts that are difficult to understand. My years of experience as a medical doctor position me right to provide adequate details.
I assess skills you already have and create a timetable based off of what you want to achieve If you want casual and fun lessons learning any song I will help you with that, or if you are completely serious and interested in grades I will help you aswell
I am a maths teacher with a civil engineering degree, teaching private lessons to students in the spanish international schools. The subjects that I teach are: - Matemáticas (1º ESO, 2º ESO). - Matemáticas orientadas a las enseñanzas académicas (3º ESO, 4º ESO). - Matemáticas orientadas a las enseñanzas aplicadas (3º ESO, 4º ESO). - Matemáticas I y II.
Working in a local primary school, initially as a TA and then music teacher, has given me the opportunity to learn from many different teachers. I offer lessons to people of any ability and age. Having my own piano also means that I will be willing to teach students who do not currently have their own.
My teaching methodology is repetition, making sure I have given enough examples to cover any confusion. I need to be sure my student has understood the topic 100%. I will make deliberate mistakes to see if my pupil can spot it. If they can't I know they havnt understood the lesson.
My teaching method revolves around looking through the required syllabus, in the case of exam preparation, or finding out what it is the particular student or students are concerned with. I am a very friendly and approachable person who is enthusiastic about teaching. I hope to make each lesson enjoyable whilst also educational.
I like to put myself in the characters shoes, see what life is like from their point of view to understand their emotions. I can also help create stories based on real life hardships. I always work at the students pace and do whatever is possible to support them.
I believe that the best results come from personal interest. Every difficult topic has something interesting in it, even if you have to look into it's broader context. I therefore try to find something within a difficult topic that one finds interesting and build from there, asking prompting questions and listening attentively. DBS checked.
My aim with each lesson is to both help my mentees build their confidence with their school curriculum, but also inspire them to excel in their chosen topic. I will introduce new topics at a simple level, and then build on knowledge from there. I myself am a very visual learner and prefer to use diagrams to explain difficult concepts.
My teaching method is demonstrating how to access and comprehend information as this allows students to observe and copy the teachers method. This allows students to understand and take in everything that is being explained to them properly. I know this is an effective method as me, myself also being an student I believe this is a great way of understanding information.
