Hello! I'm a freelance musician with an almost unhealthy passion for guitars. I'm looking to kickstart my teaching career, after having graduated with a degree in professional music performance.
Have been teaching students of all ages for local authorities and privately for many years (both in London and NZ). Guitar is my main instrument, although I also teach Bass Guitar, Piano, Blues Harmonica, Voice, Drums and Songwriting/composition. I teach ABRSM, Rockschool and Trinity syllabus, or customised lessons to suit your requirements.
I am A Experienced Guitar player from London. I Have been playing since I was 15 And Knew I loved Rock Music From A early age. I got myself a guitar and never looked back! I have played in many Rock, American punk rock bands and have rehearsed in pro studios and played many shows across London.
I've been a professional and gigging musician for 3 years (playing for 9 years) with connections throughout the music industry in education, production and distribution. I mainly play jazz, rock and funk; I have an understanding of classical guitar to Grade 5. I also play fretless bass and fretted bass.
My first approach is finding out what you are interested in musically, what inspires you to learn the instrument, my job is to help you achieve that goal. I also offer basic, easy-to-follow music theory guides which are applicable to your instrument.
I base my classes to each students needs and build lessons to improve their knowledge and skills.
My lessons will be quite spontanious depending on a student’s needs. I’m here to help anyone to understand basic devices and techniques within bass playing, music theory and ear training.
I base my lessons on the level of my student and on his personal taste and music. I like to adapt techniques and theory to whichever style my student wants to learn. First the basics and then more complex material. Wether you want to play for fun or professionally, I can help you with that.
There's nothing quite like sharing your musical passion and seeing your pupil learn and develop as a musician. I believe it's important to be creatively involved as a student of music so I like to choose songs/ repertoire that my pupils are directly interested. Tell me your level or your area of special musical interest and I will tailor the lessons around that.
I am a 20 year old university student from London, at home for the summer, offering beginner and complete newcomer guitar tuition in the borough of Havering. I aim to teach new starting guitarists a basic set of skills to be a foundation for later learning, while keeping each individual's goals and musical interests the focus of the tutoring.
i will be giving my lessons to beginners to intermediate level guitarists, and my lessons will cover basic music theory and and also, if desired, how to produce and recording techniques. i can teach a variety of styles (rock, metal, jazz, funk, blues etc.) i am happy to work with children, i have alot of patience and can definitely make guitar seem cool.
In my opinion, the most important part of learning an instrument is to enjoy playing and be creative. I'll base my lessons on your individual interests, tastes and requirements. I'll keep the right level of challenge in order to keep you steadily progressing.
Hi everyone ! My name is Antoine and I am a professional guitarist of 21 years old. After getting my English bachelor (+3) in France, I’ve decided to come to live in London. I can propose you playful lessons for every level (beginner, intermediary level, high level...) in London and its suburbs.
I write student lesson plans and practice schedules and have created a ‘Learn how to Play’ guitar book for Guitar Function ((concealed information) aimed at the beginner guitarist. I have also created backing tracks, which are available on ‘YouTube’, for more advanced students wanting to extend their repertoire by learning more complex tracks.
I am a musician with 20 years experience. I play, write, record, perform and teach. I am passionate about what I do and I aim to instil that passion into my students. My goal is to understand what it is you are trying to achieve with the instrument and then to construct a detailed plan of how to get there fast.
HOW CAN I HELP YOU? - Develop a solid foundation - Learn music theory - Improve your musical ear - Work towards achieving music grades - Guidance with Music GCSE/A-level - Learn how to practice effectively - Understand the fretboard - Set free your creativity - Write your own songs - Play your favourite songs - Basic accompaniment for singing - Soloing/Improvisation
I started playing guitar when I was 8, learning in a house the composer Elgar once lived in. Having a wide range of musical interests, I've been inspired to learn techniques & repertoire from rock, pop, blues, folk, classical, flamenco, bossa nova, jazz, hi-life & slide.
I teach guitar in variety of styles such classic rock, punk, jazz and metal. After having experience teaching people of all ages and levels, I have learnt that I am very patient with my students. I enjoy showing people how to play songs they know and love as well as guiding them through the basics of being a guitarist.
I am happy teaching students of all levels and ages. My teaching method is based around breaking down pieces that my students want to learn, appropriate to their level of playing. Through doing this I demonstrate how to learn pieces in an efficient, effective manner as well exposing students to basic musical principles that can be applied broadly to any style of music.
Over the past 10 years I have gained experience playing bass in church services, musical theatre productions, big bands and party bands for weddings. This has given me a solid grounding in music reading as well as improvising across a wide variety of genres.
I prefer to be more interactive than pass out sheets. I am very patient and will to take how ever long I need to, to help my student get to grips with new concepts.
I can adapt to the style you would like to learn and your own skill level. I would learn from you as well. We can communicate before what you are interested in and would like to learn. Songs...riffs...solos...chords...
If you are looking for a fun and relaxed approach to learning the guitar, then look no further. I have been playing and performing for over 10 years, of which i have taught for the last 6.
I am happy to give lessons to people of any age or any skill set. I want all my lessons to be focused around what you want to learn instead of following a textbook or curriculum. I want to make sure that the student is comfortable and we are moving at the right pace for each individual.
I would try as much as possible to target the lessons depending on your music taste. I am here to help you achieving your goals wether you might want to learn how to play your first chords on your guitar or perhaps to explore further intermediate/advanced concepts and harmony.
I'm Billy Crabbe, I'm an enthusiastic musician and guitar teacher based in North West London. I have a great passion for music and aim to cater each lesson to the student's needs in order for them to reach their goals.
I have a different teaching method to every student. After a trial lesson I can see what is the best approach and plan accordingly. It all depends on you speed of learning, abilities, experience and time. I wouldn't class myself as a professional and prefer teaching beginners that want to know the basics.
My approach with teaching is following the student's needs. I always create a personal program for each student based on their level and availability. I also like to teach my students their favourite songs and give them music to listen to.
I believe the classroom is a living community and that everyone, from the students, to the parents, must contribute in order to maintain a positive atmosphere. Everyone in the classroom contributes as a student, teacher, and thinker. I learn from students as much as they learn from me. All students are individual and everyone learns in their own unique way.
Hey there! I'm Josh, a professional musician with over 12 years of playing experience.
