- Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach GCSE Chemistry, GCSE Double Science (biology, chemistry and physics). I also teach A-level Chemistry OCR (Chemistry A). I have had experience in AQA and OCR (Chemistry B) A-level too. - Tell me about your qualifications.
I'm a first year university student at Essex university who's looking to help younger students pass their maths and/or chemistry gcses with the highest grades. I take an attentive approach to teaching and assess how much a student knows before filling in the gaps of their knowledge. I consider myself to be a relaxed, down to earth kind of person who's easy to be comfortable around.
I am an experienced tutor, currently studying for my Masters degree in Cancer Biology. I have a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Forensic Science. I would be able to tutor students in Biological and Chemical Sciences up to degree level.
My teaching method completely depends on what the student needs, the aspects being depth, speed and practise. Most commonly I get the best out of ones ability then challeng them with harder topics and question. I then take them further and help improve their ability with new ways of thinking and methods.
My teaching method is similar to how I teach myself.
My teaching style is largely flexible as I understand that different individuals prefer different methods of learning. In general, I plan lessons in advance based on the key areas that the student wishes to cover. I gauge the level of each student individually to ensure that lessons are neither too easy nor too hard, to keep lessons helpful and interesting.
Every Student is different and so my approach to the subject and the time taken to achieve the goal varies from pupil to pupil. I teach any level up to a level in mathematics. Math is a subject that is compulsory in schooling and will come in handy in later life. I have 100% pass rate at GCSE with my pupils.
I can either host tutoring sessions or come to your house. I can do private tuition, or group tuition if arranged by the students. I can help with exam questions and practice papers or more general help with core concepts.
i believe to learn something you will need to study it with your teachers after which a quiz should be taken and revision questions should be set to consolidate the information. i will also revisit information learnt later on in the next lessons.
I approach topics by explaining concepts which are not fully understood by the student, lessons are based around what is needed by the student and involve the use of the specification for each exam board as well as knowledge from previous qualifications.
- Classes Students attend for a free assessment which allows us to judge their progress and then students are given an individual work plan which addresses their needs. Students can attend for 30 mins (1 subject) or 60 mins (2 subjects) when they will complete tasks both written and computer based. Homework is set weekly.

I believe all children have the ability to succeed in science given the right support. I am especially experienced in examination and course work preparation. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I have recently retired from a Science College in Hertfordshire where I taught all sciences up to GCSE (OCR applied and additional science and geology) and A-level Chemistry and Geology (Both OCR).
I completed my GCSEs in 2017, and am now studying Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics at A-level. I teach by explaining the basic concepts of a given topic, and then devising practice questions to help reinforce the knowledge, as well as offering my own notes for the student to keep should they want them.
I enjoy working through example and understanding where students are making mistakes to help them improve in the areas often overlooked when in class .
If you have any questions having read my profile, please feel free to give me a ring and have a chat about your tutoring requirements. Your child may have specific needs that I have not covered here. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I offer tuition in Primary (KS2) English, Maths and Science as well as 11+ Tuition and preparation for entrance exams including verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
My teaching method revolves mainly around individual progression, with most of my experience coming with GCSE students but also now with A level students. I am very flexible with class times to meet any preferred times and I base much of my lessons around this.
Although every student is individual, I believe the best way to teach is by first explaining and then giving them something to work through themselves.
I love to explain methods in a way that my student will enjoy. I make sure concepts are practices thoroughly as that's the best way to learn.
My experiences with young children has shown me how different children respond to different teaching styles. I like to mould my methods around the student. By spending time tackling questions, I can quickly grasp what teaching method I believe would be most suitable for the child.

hi, my name is talha, I am currently doing my A levels I know that maths is not many students strongest subject, however, I am happy to help them out. I will be able to teach students who are currently doing their GCSEs and also students 15 and under.
My teaching method involves helping the student to fully understand the material they are being taught, rather than simply remembering facts. For example in Maths, I would derive every important result from first principles, as I believe it makes it easier to apply them.
