I teach the topics that the student in particular finds difficult but also recap other topics. Give them questions I have made myself. At the end of each topic I will give them a test also produced by myself. Since I have done the new maths GCSEs I am experienced in the way they ask the questions.
My lessons are flexible to the needs of the tutee, as I don't believe there is one method of teaching for everyone. Common to all my lessons, however, is an emphasis on first understanding concepts and then applying those concepts to problems. To improve and develop understanding, we will discuss topics, work through explanations with examples and then test your understanding with questions.
Whatever the students would like me to do, I'd be happy to do it. If they would like me to create videos and post them, and/or notes to send to them online supplementary to videos or just in depth notes with diagrams or no diagrams. I'm happy with whatever the students can absorb the best.

I have three children myself so I am used to teaching different ages in different ways in order to suit them to grow and learn in a way which suits them.
Although every student is individual, I believe the best way to teach is by first explaining and then giving them something to work through themselves.
My teaching method is based on not just teaching students but them learning and understanding the topic instead of memorising. I use past papers to prepare model 6 mark answers and regularly test students to ensure they understand the topic.

I am an enthusiastic and optimistic person, therefore my lessons are never dull and dreary. I approach my lessons by picking a topic, going through the method of how to answer the question, asking the student to answer one in similar style and then going though the solution.
