I give lessons to GCSE students and my teaching method is starting from the beginning of the certain topic inside the subject or teach a specific part. I'm flexible on teaching and I can meet the persons need by showing enthusiasm and helpful.
I approach learning as a process of understanding, not simply retaining knowledge. My sessions revolve around achieving full understanding of a topic so that in an exam or practical situation you will know the theory behind what you are doing, and hence will be able to achieve better results in everything you do.
Mathematics is based on convergent thinking. There is always an answer and it's easy to check. The best method is knowing the best techniques and best strategies.
My teaching method is to base on topic by topic discussions and at the end of each topic give a revision class and a small quiz that I later go through with the student to make sure they understood what they were doing.
I'm patient and understanding. I know that not everyone learns the same way so I adjust my explanations to suit the student. If you have particular areas that you would like to focus on, I can run through topics and examples until you’ve built up your confidence, or if you are unsure of where you struggle, I can run you though the syllabus systematically helping you to achieve your best grade.
Students of any level may sign up to take my lessons. I will always cater to the level of the student and focus on areas which they struggle the most with. I have many Maths and Physics resources at my disposal and can forward the helpful items to each student when relevant.
I can help you if you are a 1st year Phyics student or below. I can help you with maths and chemistry as well. I would like to stay informal. If you need my help please do not hesitate to contact me. I prefer to get the material, you want to discuss, in advance so I can be prepared. We can talk in skype, whats up and messenger so none of us have to travel.
I believe everything regarding maths, science and physics field should teach in the easiest possible method and also in very interesting way. Then you will be in love with the science field subjects. I love to teach kids in primary schools as well as students up to GCE A level.

For Maths, my method is to go over questions, especially ones which prove challenging, and guide the student through them so they can build up their confidence in their ability. For Physics and Science in general my method is to tutor topic by topic, going over key ideas for each section, consolidating what the student may have already been taught and giving them confidence in the subject.
Looking to tutor year 10/11 GCSE Maths students. I believe that the real learning starts after you have covered all the content in your lessons, that is, by practicing what you have learnt and applying it to exam questions.
I try to base each lesson on what the student needs and wants, trying to make each lesson fun and enjoyable. I can take requests on which topic the student needs, work through the current syllabus with worksheets or past papers during the lesson.

Ph.D Applied Mathematics - Warwick University B.
Given the cumulative nature of Maths, I understand the frustration of having gaps in your foundation knowledge which leads to students just memorising formulas and rules.

Let's keep it simple. Everything in Maths seems fine, doable and maybe -sometimes- even easy. That is, until you open up the exam paper. So, Exam papers is where we'll start. We'll cover, but main focus will be to develop skills to help you answer those exam questions because that's what you're working towards at the end of the day.
I believe each student has their own personal preference for learning, hence, I try to accommodate to the best of the students learning capability. I always ensure the student puts in to practise anything they are taught. I am very patient with my students as I understand everyone learns at their own pace.
I focus on explaining the topics from the basics so that the topic is understood clearly and all doubts are cleared from the foundation level. Also after I finish the lesson, I generally ask students to complete some homework that I can check at a later stage to see the progress of the student and which topics need to be revisited.
My teaching methods may vary from student to student, since everyone learns best in different ways, but fundamentally I try to find where and what area the student struggles with and find resources to go through with them to help them understand these topics.
I give a friendly approach and go all the way to help you understand and be able to executive the problem solutions. I like to do visual teaching by drawing diagrams and with the use of textbooks and colorful diagrams. I like to build foundations of understanding the basics as well as learn new things myself.
I have been teaching for over 20 years. I enjoy teaching and my students enjoy my lessons. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I have completed 2 years of my PhD in Education.
My methodology to teaching is every student is different, they all have different methods of understanding. As a tutor it is very important to know your student and understand the weakness and also their strengths, ensure they over come and eliminate weaknesses by motivating them through their strengths.

- Classes Kumon provide individualised Maths and English programmes. Attendance at class is after school as each child works on their own individual development plan. Children take approximately 20-30 minutes per subject and attend class once or twice a week. The Kumon programmes work in a logical, sequential way to develop mathematics and English skills to a level equivalent to "A" level topics.
I base my lessons on giving a deeper understanding of the subject matter so that the target material is learned and not just memorised. I am a firm believer of learning by experience, association and teaching, it is these pratices I would bering into lessons to help students grasp a deeper understanding.
I am a fully qualifed teacher, currently teaching in a Birmingham grammar school, with six years of tuition experience. I graduated with a Mathematics degree from Oxford University and have a full, clear CRB check. I have taught, and can tutor, the International Baccalaureate as well as Maths up to and including A Level Further Maths.
I strive hard to make learning meaningful, and applicable to daily life helping students to understand why Maths is such an important subject for overall life opportunities. My teaching style is structured around firstly identifying current understanding, gaps in knowledge, and then tackling identified issues in a tailored way.
I give lessons to Maths students of A-level and below, and believe in creating an environment where a student is not afraid to be wrong, as learning from mistakes is the fastest way to progress. I place a strong emphasis on working through problems, independently and with help, to understand why errors are being made, so a student can make progress even when not being tutored.
Everyone has a particular teaching style. For me it is very important to understand the student’s goals (e.g. solve certain type of problems, understand a concept, improve marks, pass an exam, develop your general mathematical thinking, etc). Once we have our goals clear we can agree on a working plan, as short or long as it should be considering the time and expectations that you have.
