I have an infinite amount of patience and I will help you on every steps until you master the subject. I like to give examples or different type of methods that will help you easily understand and find the solution to the problems.
I am currently an A-Level student. I'm happy to help all you guys who are truggling with Maths problems in GCSE and AS Level.
I'm looking to offer any help needed with homework or general studies at A-level/GCSE level education, to all ages within the Torquay area, in the Maths/Physics fields. I am happy to come to your home in the Torquay area or even tutor via webcam if preferable.
When you're really stuck with Maths, it sucks, isn't it? I remember how a little bit of one to one tutoring had helped me develop a logical way of tackling problems. My teaching focuses on the following: 1. Reading the question damn right 2. Visualising what it's asking 3. Going backwards 4. Consider quicker alternative methods (i.e. symmetry) 5. Understanding of the concepts 6.
My teaching style is based on evidence: ● Evidence of your Growth: Every lesson you will have a sheet of problems solved -- proof of new abilities. ● Evidence of our Direction: Every lesson you get a copy of its plan for your learning diary -- including notes on your input.
I'm currently a student at the Exeter Mathematics School looking to help Secondary School students with their Mathematics. Given the new GCSE's graded 1 to 9, the difficulty of Mathematics at the secondary school level has risen greatly and a lot of students struggle with it's memory oriented exams.
I give maths and physics lessons to any level student up to A level. My lessons are personalised for you to be able to achieve you're desired grade. I can advise you on which topic would be most useful to study or you can tell me what you'd like to learn/revise in advance of the lesson.
My teaching method is as hands-on as possible. I will ask them to try and solve the problem as much as they can and then explain step-by-step how to solve it showing how it differed from their attempt. With children who find it easier to visual the problem I will use 3D models and props to help teach them.
I had the privilege to teach Maths to students in year 7-12 students in year 12 and 13 at my sixth form. I teach student the same material in different ways and stick to the way they like it most. I make study a fun subject specially maths so that student can remember it for longer time.
My teaching method is helping the student(s) through past papers and practice questions, and then focusing on key areas to develop. I give lessons to GCSE and A-Level students. I try to empathise with the student and take great pride in seeing them learn new things and develop key ideas.
I am an undergraduate mathematics student, I've taught GCSE mathematics helping students from a B/C to an A. I find using one to one sessions, repetitive theory revision and exam questions to be the most effective. I am very patient and believe in my students.
I think I can explain to you AL Math and further maths GCSEs level and maybe more depending on whatever is required.
Once I'm familiar with your curriculum/ the areas that you struggle in, I can create a structured session beginning with theory and ending with problems we can work through together. I'm most comfortable teaching at early secondary school/ GCSE level but I can also teach AS level maths very easily.
I am currently rounding up a masters degree in Mathematics at the University of Exeter. I have taught Mathematics at a private boarding school I have also provided private lessons and tuitions for students in primary and secondary school, at AS and A Levels.
My teaching methods are to give an detailed explanation of the topic being learnt with an example. Then I would give you a question to work on, then go through it step by step. If you get anything wrong, I would go through the topic again to make sure you fully understand it.
I am flexible with what times I can do tutoring, as I am able to fit it around my timetable at university, I am able to come to your house to tutor, or meet at the University of Exeter (Streatham or St Lukes). With exams, I look at breaking down the questions to see what each one requires to achieve the marks, as there will be a criteria in the mark scheme of what the exam board wants.
The sessions will be primarily guided by what you need covered and your experience with mathematics.
