Hi, I am a native german speaker of mixed race. I grew up in the southwest of Germany near the City of Karlsruhe. I am offering lessons to school students up to A-Levels and for undergraduate taking an introduction/beginners to german course.
My method is to teach the particular language naturally by means of competitions, projects and games. All this is mixed up with theoretical information which is always drilled and used in practical situations. I always adjust the pace and content to the learners.
Well, every person is different, hence I can't generalise how the lessons will be :) really depends on you, in which aspect(s) you want to improve your language skills and how you learn best. We can simply chat if you want to practice your speaking and understanding skills, or I could prepare some grammar exercises for you, ... .
My teaching methodology is combining oral exercises with grammar lessons during the lesson. Based on this, I like to give homework until the next lesson, saving time during our time together and ensuring that the matter is fully understood and can be utilised independently. Depending on the pupils wishes, the focus can obviously be shifted (e.g.
I am professional, very patient and always willing to support those who wish to learn a new language. Through my University studies, I learned how to make every lesson interesting and effective, as I believe it is essential to attract students' interest using interactive and multimedia support.
I was born and raised in Germany and am currently studying English with Creative Writing in Aberdeen. My teaching focuses on talking and writing German, and German literature. I am flexible with topics and ready to help you with whatever it is that you would like to learn about the German language and Germany.
Hi there! I'm Sara and I love teaching languages! I have been giving private German and Japanese lessons for a few years now, and have decided to finally offer my services online. The most valuable lesson I have learned myself from teaching many different people is that nobody acquires language, or any knowledge for that matter, via the same ways and methods.
I base my classes on the needs of the student and target specifically the areas they are struggling in. I welcome students bringing questions to the lessons, whether it be out of curiosity or material that they have been struggling with at school. I'm also open to teaching complete beginners, meaning that no prior knowledge or any classes are required for the lessons.
I believe that regular repetition and real life exercise combined with interest in the language and culture is the optimal way of learning a language. I am very patient and understanding because I know the difficulties of learning a new language.
I am a second-year student of Language & Linguistics and offer to give lessons in German to anyone who would like to take some. As a native speaker of German and fluent speaker of English, I believe I am qualified to teach on any level necessary. The method of teaching depends on what you would like to focus on.
As a native speaker, I can teach all levels of German through e.g. proof-reading, help with homework/exam preparation or skype calls for pronunciation. I am flexible about timing and reliable in my work. I can also help with specific aims such as texts for university or job applications.
Hi, my name is Marie. I am 27 years old and just moved to Aberdeen. I became a primary teacher in Berlin, Germany and was working for a few years in a school. My teaching philosophy is to make it as fun and interesting for you. We will work together and unfold your potential.
My methods of teaching depend on the age of the student. The normal exercise sheets and books are of course part of every lesson. This is however enhanced with either fun games and songs for primary kids or puzzles and brain teasers for older students. I try to reward every student if they have completed something, however I am also very firm with students that are not willing to work.
My pupils tell me that 'learning' is fun and very enriching: I love life and words. - Which subject(s) do you teach? English (and as a Foreign language) French and German - Tell me about your qualifications. MA(Hons) French, RSA (Bilingual Secretary) , TESOL (Trinity) Proofreader (Chapterhouse) - How much do you charge? £25.
