Beginning with finding which areas students are mostly challenged-by, I guide students towards their maximum potential through worked examples and 1st hand exam experience. Completion of further past papers, with my assistance where necessary, ensures students are most confident in their abilities.
Hi, I'm Ellie - I have just finished my A-levels; taking Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. I am really easy-going, approachable and enthusiastic about learning! would love to teach mainly English, maths and sciences up to GCSE level.
I am a student teaching sciences and maths to students at GCSE age or below, teaching through example, model answers, thorough exam analysis and practice. I am very calm and patient, with a strong ability to make things easy to understand.
I'm a university student at Leeds University and I'm studying Maths. I'll happily give lessons to anyone up to A-level.
I am a 20 year old undergraduate Chemical Engineer entering my 2nd year of my course at University of Leeds. I am more then happy to give lessons to GCSE students. I believe in knowing the concept behind a method to fully understand a procedure, so it makes it easier and quicker to learn in the future. Being repetitive and going over things is my way of teaching.
My teaching method is intuitive and interactive with the use of diagrams, math comics, repetition and necessary feedback for the student.
Simply put there is no particular way that works for all students. I opt to judge student’s level and see what’s best for them. If I had to choose a particular style of teaching I would probably chose demonstrative and practical work. I believe repetition is key to succeeding in anything.
I will firstly offer a comprehensive, structured overview of the course/curriculum, breaking it down into manageable sections. The focus is to strengthen the basic sections and work up to more difficult concepts (Using a bronze/silver/gold hierarchy system).
I am currently a student at the London School of Economics, studying BSc Actuarial Science. I am teaching mathematics, both applied (including mechanics, statistics, decision) and pure mathematics. I am confident and flexible to teach students studying A-levels, AS-level, GCSE or KS3 mathematics.
My teaching method is to find the best way to support a student wether that be with additional resources or by just spending a little extra time on difficult queries.
My teaching method is approaching one with what difficulties they have and coming on agreement to attack and solve what the issue is.
I will try my best to teach simplify methods and make them much easier to understand. My technique is to know the basic of everything first.
i have done masters in mathematics.....doing tuituions for so many years....
Engineering graduate currently pursuing masters. I have an experience of 2 years of teaching students from I-X std preferably maths and science.
Statistical Consultant - Which subject(s) do you teach? Being a statistician, my strong professional skill is in Statistical Data Analysis of research data but the rates are different for this work.
Hi, I'm Aadil! I'm a 1st year Civil Engineering Undergraduate born and raised in Yorkshire. I'm fully qualified and already work part-time as a private tutor teaching GCSE and A level Maths. There are many qualified Maths tutors out there, however from my experience there is a huge lack of experienced tutors actually able to teach.
I base my lessons around what the student/s would like to go over (can be something they struggle with or something they just want to practise or something that they'd like to go beyond their current level in). I can plan lessons but am very adaptable in different situations.
I will provide lessons for primary school age and secondary. I like the lessons to be enjoyable but productive. I prefer if the student can come to me with work to go through from school so that I work in line with the curriculum. I can also offer prep for exams through past papers etc...
Firstly ,I will make clear up to the point where you are facing trouble, after that , I hope ,you will be able to solve your own problems as well as others . I will show you the technique and application procedures to solve any kind of problems.
I like to start by taking the students through the material in the course and highlighting with their guidance the areas they struggle with. We then explore the topics together and work on producing explanations and ways of visualizing these complex ideas in a way that is intuitive and easily understandable for the students.
I am a Geophysical sciences student at Uni of Leeds teaching, second year. I'd love to tutor AS and A level students who are aiming to do BSc. or Beng. degree at uni.
Many tutors use the method of improvisation to tutor and attempt to improve their students. In my honest opinion this is an extremely flawed way of teaching. A tutor should have the subject syllabus along with a checklist of every topic.
I have a first-class honours degree in French and mathematics including a distinction in spoken French. For the past five years, I have undertaken online tutoring of English to French speakers throughout the world and helped with the occasional mathematics homework online. I am a qualified maths teacher having obtained Qualified Teacher Status in July 2016.
I'm not just a teacher, I'm a tutor. I don't simply teach you the material. I jump in, find out what you're struggling with and strengthen your skills in your weaker areas. I'll use silly images to help you remember things. I'll try to use things you're already interested in for your advantage.
I am a PhD researcher in Environmental Engineering, with great passion for mathematics. I offer maths lessons to undergraduate and college students, as well as secondary and primary school pupils on some occasions. I engage in student-centered teaching style, in that I establish background information on the student's knowledge of the particular topic before starting any tutorial class.
I am a diligent, proficient individual, currently studying A-Level mathematics, further mathematics, physics and chemistry - at the Grammar School at Leeds. With a natural flair and passion for these subjects, I am extremely keen to share my enthusiasm and facilitate the understanding of students who wish to unlock a level of potential that they were previously unaware of.
My teaching method would be to go along with the school curriculum. Sometimes being taught subjects from a different person can give you a whole new perspective on the subject. I'd start with going over the general concepts of the subject then gradually moving onto harder questions.
I find that every child is different with how they best learn challenging material. As such I always make sure to find out how I can best help each individual child in order to help them get the most out of their tutoring sessions.
I am a 19 year old Accounting and Business student who caters to the needs of maths student up to GCSE level. My lesson structure would ideally be to address the areas in which the student currently finds challenging and to show them the easiest and simplest way to get to the answer.
I am able to explain difficult concepts from first principles and develop understanding in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.
