My teaching method would be to go along with the school curriculum. Sometimes being taught subjects from a different person can give you a whole new perspective on the subject. I'd start with going over the general concepts of the subject then gradually moving onto harder questions.
I find that every child is different with how they best learn challenging material. As such I always make sure to find out how I can best help each individual child in order to help them get the most out of their tutoring sessions.

I use varied methods of teaching such as discussion and discovery approach. In discovery, I ask students leading questions, working from known to unknown to simplify complex concepts. I do introduce my lessons with simple concepts before proceeding to more complex case. Finally, I give challenging assignments to students to broaden their understanding.
