My teaching method will be both practical and theoretical based on the topic. First, I will give an overview on the topic which is going to be taught and then will give motivation in that followed by a presentation and then how to apply the topic in real life or wherever it's being used and How to solve the problems stated in the given topic.
My subject knowledge is fluent enough to be creative and adapt to the needs of the student. I quickly identify gaps in understanding and build from strong foundations.
My teaching method is more modern than traditional. I try to break concepts down visually, relating to the real world, to ensure full understanding.
Since retiring from teaching four years ago, I have given tutorial support to a variety of children, covering Key Stages 1-3. I am a student currently studying at The University of Sussex. I studied Maths at GCSE and obtained an A*, as well as Further Maths which I obtained an A grade in. I carried it further to AS Level where I obtained an A grade. As a student myself I understand how difficult the course can be, and can share any techniques or advice that helped me when I studied at GCSE and A-Level.
My teaching method varies per person, by targeting whatever the student is struggling with the most by breaking it down and trying to build up their knowledge and understanding through lots of practice questions. Lessons are geared towards younger students (GCSE and lower) however I can also teach core modules of A level (Core 1, 2, 3 & 4).
My objective in teaching is to make sure you understand the key idea and I get to know if you understood by making sure you solve exercises that I would use to judge your understanding. Also, I try as much as possible to device techniques to help with proper understanding and learning.
I consider myself to be very passionate, taking sciences and maths very seriously, and would put maximum enthusiasm into transferring my knowledge those that require it. Despite this I would be very respectful and not place unwanted expectations or pressure on anyone seeking my help.
My teaching method is to learn about the background/base knowledge if a student(s) and be able to progress though core material and then expand, but the key I find is practice means progression
I believe it is very important to have a strong understanding of the material, whereby examinations cease to act as a test of memory but really allow you to prove your understanding and apply your knowledge. I believe this allows the student to feel confident in their ability and realize their potential.

I believe that people learn best when they feel comfortable and know they can trust their teachers, this is why I believe my friendly and compassionate style of teaching works very well, especially with the younger children who struggle in large classes
First I ask the student what they are struggling with. Then we would go through the key theories/concepts together & once they have understood this we will tackle some questions. I will send the home with further questions for them to come back with to complete their knoweldge of the topic and come back with questions on any questions they found difficult.
My teaching method comes from demonstration and patience all children work differently so it depends on the child. Also working from examples is often good as maths is about methodical repetition.

The approach for each student will be tailored to difficulties they may be having. Starting by going through basic concepts if necessary before moving onto exam style questions.
I am a confident mathematician, obtaining an A* at GCSE, A at A2, and a First in my first year of University. I teach any level of maths from primary up to A2 level.
I am friendly, flexible and believe every individual has the ability to do well in these areas if given the best support and guidance suited to their individual way of learning. I encourage a ‘can do’ attitude towards exams as from experience I have seen that a student’s confidence in their own abilities can have a large influence on how they handle and therefore outcome of an exam.
My lessons are tailored to suit each and every student dependent of their age, level and capabilities. I plan and organise lessons according to time and technique. I am able to tutor different ages, and exam boards. I systematically work with the child to achieve their goals and target, whilst following the national curriculum.

I'm a 20 year old in my 3rd year of Mathematical Physics studies at the University of Sussex. I speak French as well as English. The focus of my tutoring is to build a fuller understanding of the subject material. I adapt my methods to match the learning style of the student.
My teaching methodology is to encourage the student because they always know the answer but may need a little guidance to work through it.
In maths and physics it comes down to practice and that means learning the method then trying various types of questions to find out if it is fully understood.
