My teaching method will be both practical and theoretical based on the topic. First, I will give an overview on the topic which is going to be taught and then will give motivation in that followed by a presentation and then how to apply the topic in real life or wherever it's being used and How to solve the problems stated in the given topic.
I am a PhD student at the university of Sussex & I also have a first class MMath degree from Sussex. I give one-on-one lessons to students studying mathematics and statistics at all levels (I have a clear DBS check). I am a student currently studying at The University of Sussex. I studied Maths at GCSE and obtained an A*, as well as Further Maths which I obtained an A grade in. I carried it further to AS Level where I obtained an A grade. As a student myself I understand how difficult the course can be, and can share any techniques or advice that helped me when I studied at GCSE and A-Level.
My objective in teaching is to make sure you understand the key idea and I get to know if you understood by making sure you solve exercises that I would use to judge your understanding. Also, I try as much as possible to device techniques to help with proper understanding and learning.
I consider myself to be very passionate, taking sciences and maths very seriously, and would put maximum enthusiasm into transferring my knowledge those that require it. Despite this I would be very respectful and not place unwanted expectations or pressure on anyone seeking my help.

I believe that people learn best when they feel comfortable and know they can trust their teachers, this is why I believe my friendly and compassionate style of teaching works very well, especially with the younger children who struggle in large classes
First I ask the student what they are struggling with. Then we would go through the key theories/concepts together & once they have understood this we will tackle some questions. I will send the home with further questions for them to come back with to complete their knoweldge of the topic and come back with questions on any questions they found difficult.
My teaching method comes from demonstration and patience all children work differently so it depends on the child. Also working from examples is often good as maths is about methodical repetition.
The approach for each student will be tailored to difficulties they may be having. Starting by going through basic concepts if necessary before moving onto exam style questions.
I am a confident mathematician, obtaining an A* at GCSE, A at A2, and a First in my first year of University. I teach any level of maths from primary up to A2 level.
My teaching method is through clear and proper explanation no concept is ever too complex for someone to grasp. And then practice on top of that will always make perfect.
I would prefer to teach outside if it is a nice day or somewhere quiet. It made me revise much more and should help others.
I'm a 20 year old in my 3rd year of Mathematical Physics studies at the University of Sussex. I speak French as well as English. The focus of my tutoring is to build a fuller understanding of the subject material. I adapt my methods to match the learning style of the student.
In maths and physics it comes down to practice and that means learning the method then trying various types of questions to find out if it is fully understood.
I have studied maths and it’s teaching with the open university alongside children with special education needs courses. I then received first class@ number accreditation from Edgehill university, a maths teaching course of which I had 3 years practical experience teaching to year 2 children.

I'm a Masters student and i give my lessons to anyone at all. The technique I use in teaching is I go through basic lessons with you based on the topic you have requested and then i build up on it gradually to make sure you understand every bit of it. I take questions while teaching and give assignment on a regular basis to ascertain some feedback.
I like to be organised in my teaching and aim to cover every topic. This is because everything in Maths is connected and even a topic that seems to be very simple and easy can cause problems in the further topics. My main aim is to help students actually understand what they're doing.
I am a University Chemistry student and a mother which makes my teaching techniques particularly well catered to both younger children and older students. I have 4 A-levels in Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Further Maths and AS knowledge of physics so would feel happy giving lessons in all of these subjects up to A level.
My main focus in teaching is making sure that the students uncomfotable and harder subjects and topics become their more comfortable and easier subjects and topics. My teaching methods revolves around answering any questions or topics the student does not understand and explaining and breaking down any difficult topics.
I am a university student studying mathematics. I teach mathematics and physics to pupils and anyone who needs help obtaining the grades they desire or reaching a certain level at these particular subjects. During tutoring sessions I use the specification of the examination the student is tasked with as well as additional material from my own collection to help prepare them for their exams.
I am a second year Biomedical science student and enthusiastic Tutor. I base my teaching style and methods around the students needs so I am able to adapt to any style of teaching an individual may require. I tend to use a lot of past paper exam questions as a way to solidify that a student has learnt a concept after explaining it to them.
My teaching methodology would always be surrounding the student. I'd find out how they work best and what kind of learner they are, (ie, visual, more spoken etc), so i can help them learn to the best of their ability and improve the fastest and most efficiently.
I hold a degree in Physics/Applied Mathematics from the Science faculty in Porto, Portugal and a Master's in Geomatic engineering from the same institution (both highly regarded internationally). I teach all levels and I like to use a simple approach to problems. If a student can't solve an exercise, I break it down into simpler versions he can understand and then add everything up in the end.
I am an enthusiastic third-year electrical engineering student, and I am a tutor for first years students at the university. I am a university student looking for primary or secondary school students that would like to be tutored in maths. I tailor my method of tutoring to the pupil based off of if they need to spend extra time on certain topics, whether they are a visual, auditory or kinetic learner, and their age.
My teaching method is based around getting the best out of my students by adapting to their strengths and weaknesses. When studying i realised I learn best through a mixture of passive learning through videos and tutorials and then actively applying these techniques by doing practice test papers and questions.
I approach topics my student finds difficult by using a whiteboard to visually draw out a step by step method. After teaching a method, I will then work through a number of exemplar questions with them until they feel confident to approach similar questions on their own.
My teaching methodology is based on the fact that every student is an individual and can achieve great things. As a tutor I have been described as reliable, approachable and friendly. I believe students do their best work when they are both supported and challenged.
