I have a Psychology degree from the University of Reading. During my degree I discovered my fascination behind all the many various learning styles people have. With this in mind I aim to create a learning plan to suit you, which helps you retain information, process it in your own way, and later recall to answer questions.
I'm an A-level student studying Maths, Physics and History, willing to tutor those at GCSE level Maths, Science and History or As level Mathmatics. I use the students own homework and class work to make sure their knowledge is secure and build upon areas where they struggle.
I'm an undergraduate student studying economics and have loads of interest in maths. My favorite topic is calculus but I'm happy to teach any topic. I prefer to teach GCSE students and IB SL Maths students. I can also help with some IB HL Math questions. I have experience teaching GCSE students maths back in home country.
I'm a patient, passionate, enthusiastic and understanding student who's currently planning to pursue 4 A-levels; in Math, Further Math, Physics and Computer Science. If you're a student who's aged between 11-15 and looking to learn math, I'd love to be your teacher. I'm organized and disciplined. I plan my work carefully in order to make most of the time invested.
I am looking to teach students in secondary school Year 7 - 11 or primary school students. My lesson structure depends whether I am addressing individuals or a group. I like to focus on topics they are weaker in and give lots of questions to practice after explaining in detail the areas they are struggling with.
**RANKED NUMBER 1 TUTOR IN SHEFFIELD CITY REGION 2015/2016, NOW BASED IN BERKSHIRE** **CURRENTLY BOOKING FOR ELEVEN PLUS SUMMER SCHOOL TUITION, ENQUIRE WITHIN** Hi there, My name is Will and I am a fully qualified Maths teacher via the School Direct graduate fast track teacher training programme.
Looking for primary school students looking for help with 11+ maths, verbal reasoning or non-verbal reasoning I am a 15 year old student; I got into Reading Grammar School when I was 11, and now go to a top independent school. As a student myself, I understand what it is like being personally tutored, so will be very understanding of students.
My teaching philosophy is that anyone can learn anything. However, if students are struggling with learning new topics and subjects it is seldom the case that the concept has been presented to them in a poor manner. From my past teaching history, I have developed skills where I will help students to introduce the same concepts in a simple story-like, easy to grasp manner.
I will base my teaching on individual needs of the students, providing an indivual plan for what each student needs. I will discuss the needs of the students before the first session, and discussing exactly what is wanted from the sessions.
I am also a student so I can understand and interact with students better, at an informal level. I can give the lesson to people up to GCSE Maths. I've myself achieved grade A in GCSE Maths. I believe the success is in understanding the concept behind the method and practising the question.
How I teach is dependant on the student and their needs; Sometimes past papers are best to identify weaker areas and get a general feel of how the student needs help whereas other times certain topics needs in depth explanations!
I teach the principles, the theories, so the child can find out by themselves the answers by applying the methods. I don't really want to teach short cuts which hinder the learning for further education and especially if you'd like to get a A level in math, useful for many university degree and jobs.
My teaching method is one to one focus on every step the student approach to solving a problem.
I am happy to give lessons to whoever is interested in learning or developing maths skills below university level. My primary technique will start by first assessing the primary needs of the student (academic, professional, or just for fun of learning) and their interests. This will allow a more tailored and engaging approach to learning.
I am an engineering student studying in the University of Leicester looking to for students who need help/ would like to excel in studies from ages 8-15. I have 1 hour lessons where a progress report and homework will be given every week.
I used simplified methods to solve mathematics problems. I believe clearing basics of science and mathematics. So however advanced level student may be, I would like them to gain interest and have playful learning. Any level mathematics would look piece of cake with my teaching methodology.
I promote independent learning in students, guiding them to understand and then apply knowledge on their own. I will explain concepts in depth if needed but relate back to relevant exams and qualifications. My style is informal but productive. I expect focused work from students but outcomes can be correspondingly high.
I typically demonstrate the theory, allow for Q&As then assign questions before reviewing with my students how they tackled the problem and where they could improve. I am flexible to catering a structured programme for individuals on topics they feel they would like to work on the most.
I am a university graduate in the UK who has completed mathematics up to A-level (A grade). I was taught to understand the fundamental principles rather than memorising rules/formulae. I have experience teaching up to GCSE students, applying the very principles that I have been taught with.
I give past papers, free books according to the student's level. I am patient, l make sure the student is happy and confident before moving to a different topic. I make sure the student is getting over 90% before they sit an exam.
I just make my student decide on what they have confusion on and get rid of the confusion by helping them tackle the problem instead of solving it myself. I would like them to stop me in middle if they do not understand it.
I teach in a progressive and comfortable environment. Technology is used along with traditional methods. Explanations, discussions, question answers, learning cycle, practice, whiteboard, projector, slides, all are used in combinations in lessons as and when appropriate for the subject.
I am a Chemistry graduate here to support GCSE level students in their respective studies to improve knowledge, understanding and exam technique. I will identify your current level of understanding and help you to implement simple methods of working.
I have more than 2 years of experience of teaching students from junior school to college level. I always try to make learning any subject a joyful experience by giving examples from everyday life to explain advanced concepts.
I am an international student who has a dual nationality as a Bolivian and Japanese. I give lessons to students in primary and secondary schools. I usually teach my students straight off of their textbooks, but if needed, I can also provide made-up assignments and tests to ensure that the student gets enough practice to fully grasp mathematical concepts.
