I am simply a college student who has a lot of subject knowledge that I am willing to share with those who are willing. My lessons are aimed at GCSE level as I know how stressful they can be; with that being said, a one to one scenario can be of the most benefit and I recognize that. My aim is to help students turn up to results day where they receive 9's and 8's much like I did just last year.
I teach math and the main topics that I am familiar with are Algebra, quadratic equation, addition of more than 5 digit numbers, subtraction and much more. Math is an interesting subject and the best way to love it is by using it in real life circumstances.
I vary my style of teaching upon the person. I truly believe that everyone is different and therfore learns differently. Learning should always be a positive experience with clear goals set. This allows for progression to be measured, aswell as a boost in confidence and self-esteem.
My approach to teaching is diagnostic and methodical. Is is extremely important that I have a firm grasp on what my student knows about a topic, be it a lot or a little, so I can tailor my teaching to best suit their needs. I have experience in differentiating work based on ability and styling it to best suit the student.
My name is Jaspreet Kaur, I have provided lessons to students from the ages of 5 to 18. My method of teaching is to first assess your basic abilities in maths and then see which areas you require assistance in improving relative to your age/curriculum.
My teaching method is student-centred. As a teacher I will act as a facilitator and guide while encouraging my students to explore a range of sources. There will be an on going formative assessment which creates trust and openness.
My teaching methodology is to give my students a thorough demenstartion and practice along with explanation and assistance when needed.
I can be very flexible regarding how I convey my lessons and will tailor them to meet any individuals needs.

Also M1,M2,S1 and S2. also further mathematics. my teaching techniques is very practical with the easiest pedagogy to help students understand the taught concept. I avoid the long method rather apply the shortest possible route to arrive at the answer.
My teaching method is simple, I engage the students in a fun and friendly manner, encouraging the students to understand the subject better and help them attain a certain respect towards the subject as a reflection of their respect and love towards their teacher.
My teaching method will be specific to each student and will focus on exactly what skills they would like to develop, this will be discussed with each student individually.
My teaching method is showing examples of how to do that area of maths and then giving questions, increasing difficulty as you progress. I’ve helped my younger cousins learn maths initially, and now help them with their homework and schoolwork.
learning off the child's curriculum and adding to it encouraging logical thinking and adopting different approaches to find the best suited laid back and fun approach as i said earlier advanced concepts can be grasped easily done in the right way
I have a degree in Natural sciences from Cambridge university and 30 years experience working as a research scientist in industry. I have no formal teaching experience but trained and mentored others at work and want to help you achieve your potential in science and maths.
Personally I find that the two most vital components to learning Maths are first understanding (knowing why something is the way it is), and second practice (finding weak areas and focusing on them).
I find gratification in teaching students. I have worked as a teaching assistant in a summer academy where I helped the students with tasks they found difficult and also broke down complex concepts for easy understanding. I enjoy teaching Mathematics as it is one of my best subjects. I teach both GSCE and A-level students.
Everyone calls me Olu, I am friendly but strict (I don`t know where that came from). I am a doctorate degree student of Nuclear Robotics. I bagged a distinction in my Masters degree and a first class in my Bachelor`s program all thanks to those I have taught during revision. You know I have noticed that you study harder when you study to teach others.
What I consider as some of the hardest subjects to have students engage in, can be the most rewarding and satisfying for the student. However in my experience during high school studies, they are not taught in a particularly engaging way. Therefore as motivation is low, good results are often difficult to achieve.
