I base my teaching methods upon my notes from the previous year, and I go in depth with the student, ensuring they completely understand the topic they are studying, and can apply it in multiple situations. This is an effective method, because the student is being taught from an successful, experienced student that sat the first year of the new 9-1 GCSES.

I hold a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the Newcastle University. I have extensive academic and industrial experience which puts me in a good stead to teach the sciences with a very practical bias. I am able to teach chemistry and physics at all levels. I have a degree in Natural sciences from Cambridge university and 30 years experience working as a research scientist in industry. I have no formal teaching experience but trained and mentored others at work and want to help you achieve your potential in science and maths.
What I consider as some of the hardest subjects to have students engage in, can be the most rewarding and satisfying for the student. However in my experience during high school studies, they are not taught in a particularly engaging way. Therefore as motivation is low, good results are often difficult to achieve.
