My teaching method is to understand the students requirements and bespoke the lesson around the outcome that they require to make sure that the student gets the best out of the lesson and understands the subject by the time the lessons finishes.
I am Muhammad Anas Khalid. I am a tutor and i used to teach all science subjects of secondry and primary school students. Teaching is my hobby and It is my goal to become a Professor in Future because I take interest in teaching. My goal is to teach students using examples of new gadgets and invention. I prefer learning instead of memorization.
I have given both one on one lessons and large group lessons. In each case, I always try to approach each concept we cover from as many ways as possible, to allow my tutees to find an approach that they best understand in order to tackle problems.
Depending on the tutee's position, I will often go through a specific area with them in a textbook they're using, before moving onto to applied worked examples.
I am currently studying towards my A levels in Eastleigh. I don't have a lesson plan on the first lesson, only a few tests to determine the understanding of the ones I'm tutoring in the subject area, and a talk about the student's method of studying, how I can put that into my lessons, and previous experiences from tutors.
My teaching method is inspired by the 1-1 tutoring that I have received. I go through problems with the student to explore and improve their thinking so that they are better equipped to engage with not only the specific problem but also mathematical problems more generally . This is focused on the individual student and can be adapted to personal learning styles.
My teaching will always be adapted to how you learn best, and I will always aim for us both to enjoy the lesson! I take into account your existing knowledge, your levels of confidence and enthusiasm in the subject, and your goal - whether that is exam grade based or otherwise. I encourage learning through investigation, application of ideas and problem solving.
I am passionate about the value of education but more so about encouraging curiosity and inquisitiveness in young students. I believe this helps them develop the right mindset towards learning. Can use any method the student prefers such as visual learning with the help of diagrams and real world applications, or more theoretic and mathematical methods.
I teach primarily secondary school and sixth from student maths. I would generally ask the student what they would like to get out of the tutoring sessions. From there I would either teach the fundamental background theory or guide students through exam style questions depending on what I thought was needed.
I try to keep things simple! I feel if the concept is clear, there is no need to cram and that's what I try from day1. If the WHY is clear then WHEN to use a particular concept, automatically becomes easy.
The teaching will be tailored around the student. In most cases I use homework in the early days to determine strong and weak points in the tutee's understanding. I have been complemented for my relaxed and effective teaching style. Even when we are working through an exam paper together needn't be a dull moment.
A professional scientist with extensive experience in a number of specialisations. Laboratory management and training of staff. Technical training as a member of forces training teams. Many years work in schools and colleges preparing practical lessons and work sheets at KS3, KS4. Level and Btec.
Having graduated with a Masters in Physics back in 2005, from the prestigious institution of Imperial College, I have since learned a great many things in industry... and a lot of things beyond. I am a serial problem-solver and love to grab a challenge, especially if that challenge is how I might best help others. Which is why I'm here.
I like to work on a 1 to 1 level and with a clear area of the subject in mind. My lesson plan consists of consolidating the basics of the area of study, walking through and completing practice questions as a team and then allowing my students to complete questions individually with my help always on standby if required. I am a student myself and so I understand the pressures that exams bring.
I have finished my MSc in Electronics Engineering at the University of Southampton and will be doing my PhD next year at the same university. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Maths, Physics, Electronics Engineering and Computer Engineering. - Tell me about your qualifications. MSc in Electronics Engineering, BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
I am studying mechanical engineering at University of Southampton, currently in 2nd year. My method of instruction is to build from basics. I like to go slowly and make sure that the student understands the concept before moving on. I always prefer when students ask questions and practice.
I always focus on the needs of the students and prepare them accordingly for their examinations using the appropriate methods and techniques. I have extensive experience with students resitting and requiring exam preparation.
