My teaching style is friendly and relaxed. Many of my students have lessons out of school hours so I try to keep things informal and relaxed which works really well. I'm happy working from the all the main syllabuses such as AQA, Edexel and OCR. Hi. I'm Andy. I'm based in Herne Bay but come out to students or can teach online. My style is informal and relaxed.
My teaching strategy includes full coverage of coarse work so that student do not need to have extra study hours after the classes. complete guide in any subjects related to Science and Mathematics. Friendly Environment with the students, understanding and caring.
I feel confident teaching classes up to and including A level students. I like to start by focusing on areas that students struggle with and finding a way to make it easy to understand before going on to practice. For GCSE and A level students I often find completing a past paper in the subject is the best way to identify areas which need improving.
My teaching method is to give a general understanding of the topic and to follow it up immediately with questions focused on targeting those areas to identify weak areas of understanding. I feel like this method helps build a robust understanding of the topics covered.
I give lessons to GCSE and A-Level students in Maths, Further Maths and Physics, both in person (in Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge) and online. Having completed my GCSEs and A-Levels myself rather recently, I can relate and see problems from a student's perspective.
My teaching method is what I believe to be the best way to learn; which is the intuitive method. I believe that making the student understand the subject matter will not only help achieve the better grade but will also help the student retain the subject material for longer.
A passionate Biochemist undergraduate with A-levels in Chemistry, Biology and Maths. I also have an AS in Physics. In my lessons we will start by going through the specification and highlighting the weakest areas the student has. Then we will create a study plan to strengthen the weakest area of knowledge specific to the student.
I am an international university student. I teach according to your needs, so you have to provide me on some details on what you would like to learn and what examination board you are from. For example, if you have problems with differentiation in A-levels Edexcel Maths.
My teaching style focuses on understanding the principles behind the topic and question comprehension. Many people struggle in the sciences do to the prevalence `why` questions in the exams. These questions not only require subject knowledge but also an understanding of what the question itself is asking, not an easy skill.
I use a structured approach to understand exactly where assistance is needed. Lessons would then be based around specific needs. As I have recently completed my GCSEs I would focus on both content and methodology for tests and exams. I appreciate how stressful it can be to not have full confidence in a topic, so my calm and empathetic approach is part of my method.
I am currently a PhD scholar. I have been giving Online Tutoring lessons to up to Master's Level students in subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, Numerical Analysis and related. I prefer to use Whiteboard and Audio for giving Online lessons. I like to solve problems and show students how they are solved so they can learn the concepts instead of just one solution.
I believe lessons should be engaging and interesting as well as teaching the children the required content, I am looking to teach A level and GCSE level Physics and Maths. I only ask that the children be eager to learn and try their best.
Ma teaching method is like constructive by giving some examples and having interaction with the students..I always feel that clearing doubts about the subject in student is important thing in teaching . I teach for 11th and 12th class.. Teaching profession is always the best profession..
Hi! My name is Charlie, I'm an A-Level student offering help with Maths, Physics or Computing.
I am able to answer any questions you have about physics, including more trivial questions of a higher level. You will be able to ask for assistance on any homework you have but you will have to complete it on your own. I am also capable of teaching mathematics and chemistry at secondary level.
Before a tutorial, I will ask a student to tell me areas they are struggling with or would like me to cover in particular. I will begin the tutorial with a brief run through of chosen topics, making sure to highlight key equations or concepts, going into depth with parts the student highlights as problem areas. After this, we will typically run through practice exam questions.
Teaching methods depend on the individual and the context. Within a school environment, science should be a practical subject which is hands on and fun. As a tutor it involves identifying areas of misunderstanding, revision, exam guidance, etc. Ideally tutoring needs to be tailored to the individual and the needs of those involved.
Each person learns differently. I use a combination of different techniques from active learning based on material provided during lessons. I review a copy of the student's syllabus and plan an agenda for next session accordingly. I focus of developing students and helping them to reach their potential.
I believe in being passionate about education; it wasn't until someone showed me how to fall in love with my studies that I became the Astrophysics student I am today. When I tutor, I try to pass this passion on, working through concepts and problems by using real world applications that make the subjects easier to understand.
I have recently graduated from University of Physics with a degree in Physics. I have had experience of tutoring for A-level students and my University peers. I aim to offer an interactive, friendly teaching envirnoment. I utalise my experiences and methods learn't from previous teachers I've had to maximise the amount my students can learn in the time slot.
I base my classes on the topics primarily on the exam board specification or beyond as necessary to suit the student's needs. I make sure to adjust the way I explain a topic to suit the student's learning style, being able to adapt my approach to teaching any topic. I utilise topic related past paper questions where appropriate to ensure a thorough understanding.
I believe a student should always work smart not hard. I try to explain or portray any problem or theories in a way to make the students understand them with ease. I help student to understand everything rather than memorising them.
I like to make my lessons personal to the student I teach. We will work together to uncover your weaknesses and then I will base my lesson plans on this information. I am able to teach course content and also exam technique. As a student taking public exams for the last four years I have valuable first hand knowledge on how to answer exam questions.
I use an individualised approach for each student according to their needs. I explain that this is not school, they are the only student, I can go as slow or as swiftly as they like and they can stop me at any time to explain something or answer questions. Above all, students have said that find my lessons fun.
I find it most useful to go through questions around topics a student may have difficulty with in order to boost their confidence in the topic. This means they can then go on to answer similar questions individually, without beginning to panic and ignoring the question.
The current A levels are incredibly content heavy and rely on so much more than just knowledge. My approach to exam preparation consists of teaching proper exam technique and utilising both the Feynman and Pomodoro techniques in an attempt to remove rote learning whilst increasing the students ability to concentrate for prolonged periods of time.
