I am a sixth form student, who gives lessons to GCSE students in Maths, Physics and Chemistry, as well teaching Maths for any level below GCSE(e.g SATS, 11+, KS3, KS2). I as a teacher work hard to understand how my student learns most efficiently, whether that be through doing lots of questions, a more visual or practical approach.
I base my teaching on specific areas which the student has been struggling on in class. I will give them a practice question, which they will have some time to complete on their own, before I ask them to explain their methodology to me.
