I am an enthusiastic, young tutor that really does have the best interests of my students at heart! I love helping students to produce work that they can be proud of. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I focus mainly on the core subjects: English, Mathematics and Science. I teach secondary school age children, with the exception that I can also tutor for the 11+ exam.
I tailor my lessons to the individual student, by first reviewing the material, finding gaps in their knowledge and teaching to those gaps. As well as theory lessons, I give lots of questions so that students understand how to answer questions in the exam. I can tutor up to and including GCSE level and can offer advice for A-level students.
Schools and universities across the globe base the education system around exams, simply because they are the easiest and most effective way of assessing a students progress and understanding of the material. However, exams do not reflect true understanding because a lot of information taught during term cannot be assessed using examinations.

I like to listen to a students concerns with a topic and lead them through problems with as much help as they need until they can tackle the problem on their own. The aim is for students to understand the principles of a topic and use what they learn to solve a new problem.
I start with basic concepts of the subject and help practice through different problems, daily life examples and text book questions. Also help in the homework and take that as a baseline to build the concepts of the subject. I have working knowledge of teaching through classroom boards or private tuition through joint sittings.

I am a Master's student at UAL studying to be a Cosmetic Chemist with an undergraduate degree in Chemistry and the Life Sciences. I have tutored for the past 4 years and have experience tutoring with private tutoring companies. I have undergone training to tutor both in person and online.
Practice makes perfect! By rigorously examining the subject, and applying your knowledge in as many different scenarios as possible, you will quickly master difficult aspects within maths and science.
I really enjoy clarifying those aspects of the syllabus that often leave students feeling confused. My teaching style is informal and is designed to reduce stress and fill the student with confidence. Once you understand the principles of Physics - all the other seemingly disconnected elements come together beautifully.
I like to bring a bright and full of humour atmosphere, as I think that really helps the student acquire new material better. Through my A-Levels I have found where to find additional material, extra papers/problems/questions for preparation and would like to bring those to lessons for additional prep (if asked of course).
I have a very simple motto - "Anything you can do, I can learn to do". I have an excellent track record and success is guaranteed as long as students put in the requisite work. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I have worked as both an Engineer and teacher of Physics and Mathematics. I specialise in A level / IB Physics along with A level Maths and GCSE Maths and Physics. My key goals are to assist the student in developing both a conceptual understanding of the subject and refining their exam technique.
I understand that learning is a difficult process and therefore I am very understanding when it comes to learning. I support students in the learning process and try not to intimate them but instead I try to build their confidence up. I talk through examples slowly until the student is confident that he can understand it.

I like to tailor the learning to the student. It may be a subject they dislike, but I try to find and progress from a motivation. I am very patient, and tend to focus on exam prep but am happy to also plan lesson with adequate preparation time.
I know that personally I learn best and am most engaged when I am active in completing tasks, and this is why I aim to make my lessons as interactive as possible! I think practice, practice and more practice is the only way to really improve and get to grips with something.
My teaching method is related on understand what are the difficulties of my students have and work on it to present it back to then on a easy way to be understood. I don't have a specific methodoligy and, as each student is unique, I tailor all lesson as they need it.
Hi, my name is Eugen and I teach and have taught German, Mathematics and Physics for over 2 years now. Please feel free to browse through my Q&A. - Which subject(s) do you teach? German, Mathematics and Physics at GCSE level. - Tell me about your qualifications.
I have been teaching for over 10 years in schools in Spain. My lessons focus on how to understand, synthesise and solve the typical mathematics and physics problems, especially those that you will face in GSCE and A-level. And you will learn how to tackle them efficiently to cope with the usual time constrains of the exams.
I give maths, chemistry and physics tutoring to GCSE and A Level students based in Somerset. Happy to go over both simple and complex topics, covering anything from algebra and trigonometry, to mechanics and chemical bonding. I try to keep an informal relationship with my students and am keen to have a relaxed yet focused engagement with them.
I am a flexible and versatile teacher who believes everyone learns differently. I am primarily interested in finding the method that works best for each student. I try to build things up from first principles in my lessons as I have seen this produces a more thorough understanding than just teaching methods.
As a student myself, I understand the pressure many children can feel and also understand just how important it is to receive help in the years of Primary school. Having faced many hurdles in my education, I am now a fully capable, A/B student in my chosen subjects, including Science. I am friendly, down to earth, patient (I have younger siblings!) and believe in making education fun.
I would work with you on topics that you find difficult, so the lesson structure is based on your needs. Not everyone is the same, so I tailor each lesson to the individual, making sure I understand your learning style first.
