I'll teach classes on anything you'd like and at any level, covering any of the RYA syllabus and more, extra points of personal ability including Navigation and Seamanship. I can offer improver sessions and I will utilise the various key training points.
My teaching method is too make sessions as fun and educational as possible whether on the water or in the class room. I always try to get everyone involved and will answer any questions you have. In the class room I like to make things as practical as possible.
I like to teach by having a core topic and making fun and enjoyable ways of remembering and learning the chosen subject. I prefer to get as hands on as possible as I feel most is learnt in sailing by trial and error.
I love sailing and want you to move it too ! I can teach beginners and intermediates. I know very well catamarans, a little bit less dingys but I can do with them too. I will show you how to rig them and explain everything one at a time, as we go through the lessons. I try to let the students do as much as they can so they learn better.

I have taught kids for the past two summers how to sail, I have my CanSail 3 and I teach the first two levels CanSail 1 and 2, I break the theory classes down as much as I can so it is understandable. I also try to make the classes fun and interesting. All my theory classes are based on the CanSail theory books, which you need to know to pass levels.
