Hi! I am an experienced tutor and am currently a student at the University of Reading. I work mainly based from online tuition, but also offer face to face sessions.
I am a postgraduate student, also employed part time on two research projects in the Meteorology Department at the University of Reading. I have teaching/tutoring /demonstrating experience in Physics/Maths/Statistics and a recent CRB certificate. - Which subject(s) do you teach? Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics at A level. - Tell me about your qualifications.
I'm a second year student and is able to provide maths tutoring to primary aged students.
I'm a Mathematics Undergrad.I give maths tuition for all ages between 4-18 years in all areas. I specialize in A Level and GCSE maths. The main technique I use is in the form of a lesson i.e. starter, main, plenary. Lots of examples given to make sure pupils full comprehend.
I use the latest GCSE syllabus to cover all topics. Further more I focus on the students weak points and insure full comprehension before moving on to the next topic.
I am an innovative and committed mathematics teacher. I give one on one and group lessons to GCSE, AS and A-level students. I do ensure: (i) Excellent and targeted learning, which addresses specific learning challenges that the student is currently facing. (ii) Equip students with exam preparation strategies and help them learn techniques that enable them to achieve and succeed in their subjects.
I encourage problem-based learning, where a subject is approached through solving various open-ended questions with an aim of cultivating scientific thinking, logic, and further complex problem solving skills. In this approach I promote active learning via student-to-teacher and student-to-student interaction.
How I teach is dependant on the student and their needs; Sometimes past papers are best to identify weaker areas and get a general feel of how the student needs help whereas other times certain topics needs in depth explanations!
I am a friendly computer science student offering help to GCSE and A-level students to help pass their exams.
My teaching method stems from using written example questions (maths) and preparing content based on my clients needs (chemistry and biology). This can include marking past papers and identifying where any weaknesses lie, and using diagrams to explain topics that clients may struggle with.
I am a patient, logical, practical and persistent individual, who has taught people of varying abilities. I like to understand how each student best learns and fit their tutoring to suit their needs. I think I understand the process of learning as I have done it so recently myself and being at graduate level I am still very familiar with exams and techniques for these, as this is usually the key.
I am an international student who has a dual nationality as a Bolivian and Japanese. I give lessons to students in primary and secondary schools. I usually teach my students straight off of their textbooks, but if needed, I can also provide made-up assignments and tests to ensure that the student gets enough practice to fully grasp mathematical concepts.
I am currently at university studying Business Management and Spanish. I will tutor any school level students- from primary to sixth form/ college, and will make sure the lessons are engaging and fully addressing the students needs; filling in the gaps In learning for which schools do not have time for. Lessons can either be online or face to face.
I give one-to- one classes or online classes as well to GCSE students.I have different teaching techniques. I use practise books, previous exam papers and different apps to teach. I also explain the easy approaching methods which helps the students to remember.
I am currently a year 10 student at Waingels School, I am really great at solving mathematics, which has been proven by my outstanding grades and this has been made constant as a result of my zeal of always reading ahead of time, and I strongly believe and know that I am more than capable to impact rapidly positive in both the student's character, his/her homework scores, and exam grades, as...
I'm an A-level student studying Maths, Physics and History, willing to tutor those at GCSE level Maths, Science and History or As level Mathmatics. I use the students own homework and class work to make sure their knowledge is secure and build upon areas where they struggle.
I finished my masters degree in economics and finance at Durham University in September 2010, graduating with a distinction. Whilst I hope to start a career in this area in the future, I am currently pursuing my other passion - rowing.
For more content-based subjects - such as biology and chemistry - I read the specification to gauge what the exam board is putting the most emphasis on. In addition to this, I use the specification to determine what potential questions could be asked, such as longer-answer questions (6 or 10 marker questions).
Hi, I'm Abby, I'm 20 years old and study Mathematics at the University of Sheffield. However, am I currently at home in Berkshire over the summer holidays.
I have enjoyed giving both lessons and lectures to students at my school. I pride myself on the levels of enjoyment and efficiency that I can deliver. I am a flexible teacher, who can adapt my teaching style to a wide range of students. I firmly believe that with enough hard work, I can get any pupil an A* in mathematics at GCSE level.
Can teach any types of math from primary school level up to Sixth Form - very flexible and good value. I would normally like to go through questions with students but can also teach methods if thats what the student wants.
I aim for my teaching to be passionate, engaging and personalised, since we all learn best in different ways. I find that patience and comfort are very important when solving maths problems and I like this to come across in my teaching.
I have considerable experience tutoring students and preparing them at levels from 11+ selective school entry examinations to GCSEs, with positive results. I am able to adapt to each students pace in order for learning to be as efficient as possible. Having substantial study experience myself, I am able to advise and provide guidance and tips, which have contributed to my own success.
I am a Farnborough Sixth Form college student that is willing to give lessons based on Mathematics A-Level equivalent or below. I can give virtual lessons through interactive software with a microphone or face-to-face at my place. My lesson structure will be an hour sessions twice a week.
I approach each topic at its core meaning and how it is derived from first principles as i strongly believe the best way to understand any topic is to understand where it came from and why it is done in a particular way. Grasping the fundamentals of any topic is honestly the best way to improve your mathematic ability and exam results overall.
I’m a flexible tutor that works with you to find how you learn best.
I usually support kids in furthering their understanding up to and including GCSE level. This means I focus on what they are struggling with to help them build confidence in the subject, topic by topic.
I love teaching Maths and Physics any level up until University. My teaching style is based on what the student wants! I will teach the core material and specifically show how to answer the questions the student needs to answer for their exams.
