I try my hardest to make lessons as fun and engaging as possible, ensuring each lesson is tailored to the needs of the students! I strive to create an environment where students are comfortable asking questions and ensure the lesson does not end without the need of each child's being answered.
I go through the student's specification or ask the student what topics he/she struggle with. The topics they need help with most are prioritised and other topics are covered later to ensure the student is fully prepared. I will be going through the feedback the student receives from his/ her school teachers and test results to ensure that they don't make the same mistakes again.
My name is Pete Dutton, i am a 21 year old university student with a deep knowledge of all areas of mathematics, interested in helping other students to reach their potential. My method is to simplify the problem into steps so that the students can follow the process easier. I would then follow up with several practice examples, and finally seen if they could teach it back to me.
I am an experienced personal tutor, and have been teaching for 7 years in Schools, Colleges and Universities in the UK. I am an expert personal tutor in Mathematics, Physics and Statistics. I have PhD in Cyber Security, MSc in Computing and BSc in Pure and Applied Mathematics. I cherish the challenge of teaching Maths, Physics and Statistics, and I always seeing my tutees learning from me.
I give lessons upto university level( undergraduate degree). My teaching method depends on student to student. I teach in a very simple and understanding manner, lesson by lessons or topic by topic. My education background is strong and my student success rate is very high.
Are you struggling with your homework? Do you ever feel as if the way the educational system presents things is unnecessarily complex? Even when the subject is very simple ! I'v been there as well.
I prefer to use a methodical approach in teaching. The structure of each lesson begins by recapping the previous lesson to ensure that the student can recall what they have learnt. Each topic is learnt first on a basic level and increases in difficulty as the student gains an understanding of the topic.
I am a student at UCLAN studying neuroscience. I think the best way to learn is through visually seeing exercises and getting hands on with the work. It is very rewarding when something is not understood and then completing a question correctly for the first time.
I prepare sessions by taking into account different backgrounds, learning needs and complementing ‘learner profiles’. Resources are designed by myself to allow individuality. Colour, flash cards, smart board, role plays, audio tape and worksheets, in my opinion all aid student learning and ensured that all needs are met.
Helpful one to one tuition which will helps you work out your strengths and weaknesses and plan a teaching programme to built on these areas. In some of the schools have taught at I have a pass rate of one hundred per cent.
I tailor each tutoring session to the individual. I believe that practice of skills and developing skills through engaging activities is the perfect way to learn. I adapt each session to how the students prefer to learn, and what they want to focus on. In the first session I like to develop a week by week plan of what topics need to be the focus.
In my lessons I prefer to start with the basics that most children are often lacking in confidence with resulting in difficulty in grasping the more difficult topics. As much as I can I try to include the students interests into lessons in order to create interest in the learning.
My teaching methods are based on how the students learn best, I adapt my way of teaching to best fulfil the students needs. Usually I begin with explaining the methods behind the topics and any trick that are helpful and then start to work through some questions with the student explaining how I would do it.
I will be providing lessons up to a primary level standard. Within my sessions, I aim to meet your needs and spend time in ensuring you understand what we are studying. The more time we spend the more likely you are to get it so this is extremely important.
Friendly, relaxed lessons.
I have a 1st class degree in Accounting and Finance and took Maths until A Level. I love using past papers in lessons as I find this the best way to learn. We would discuss the topic at the beginning of the lesson and running through examples, allowing you to ask any questions. I like to adapt the lessons to how you learn so if something isn't working for you, we can change it.
I am willing to teach anything from secondary to A Level, and will be flexible according to the needs of the student. My lessons could involve explanations of the concepts involved in a particular topic, working through examples and going through tests/student's work.
Making sure that students understand thoroughly every stage of calculation and Topic as a whole. Go with the pace of students understanding. Providing plenty of examples and breaking down every tricky parts of the question. Friendly teaching so students can confidently seek further help in case of they did not understand the method initially.
My teaching methodology is all about putting the student at the forefront of my focus. I teach depending on their needs, what they require help within and what I feel they need further help upon.
I teach lessons tailored to the preferred learning styles of the students, differentiated if teaching a group of pupils. I prefer teaching to mastery rather than rote learning to exams although I understand when there is a need for such.

Hi My name is Naiha and I am a qualified teacherI provide lessons for KS3, KS4 and KS5 students. My views on learning styles have been influenced by the work of Carol Dweck. She believes that success depends on how we approach a problem. The idea that performance can cultivate through efforts is the key finding of her research.
I have been tutoring Maths for 5 years (2012 to 2017) whilst studying my Computer Engineering degree (with honours).
In my personal experience the best way to become a competent mathematician is by applying the mathematical theory to answer questions. For this reason my tutorials will follow a structure of a theory recap for the current topic before introducing personalized questions including exam questions which increase in difficulty.
Hi, I teach mathematics and I would give lessons to anyone studying at GCSE level or lower.
I believe that the key to learning is finding a way that works for you no matter your age or experience. I will take time to understand your personal strengths and weaknesses so that together we can create lessons which are not boring. In the past this has included turning formula into songs and learning through using multiple senses.
I achieved an A* grade at GCSE so hope to help pas on my knowledge to younger pupils. In my spare time I volunteer coaching the junior cricket team at my club so I am very child/teen friendly and believe the best way to learn is to enjoy the subject you are learning.
