I am an Economics and Management graduate from the University of Bristol. I am pursuing a fulfilling career as a Maths tutor to all levels up to GCSE, I am an effective communicator and I dedicate my time to explaining concepts in a motivating way.
I am an experienced Primary School Teacher, having worked in year 2, 4 and 5. I aim to create fun lessons to ensure that the student goes away feeling content, fulfilled and with some more knowledge than when they started! I am approachable, enthusiastic and accommodating and will adhere to any specific needs that the student has (Academic or otherwise).
I'm graduated and awarded with DOUBLE MATHS (A+B) from Punjab University .I'm very passionate about maths and love to teach the students the concept from very beginning in this way using handy tricks. TEACHING METHODOLOGY: *clear instructional goal *knows contant well/present it well *individualised instruction * teach students re learning strategies *good communicators .
Analytical chemistry always was my favourite subject so I am aiming my educational development towards this area of science. I am using a scientific approach not only to the research matters but also to the teaching I provide.
Hi there! :) A bit about me: I would describe myself to be a fun, bubbly and empathetic person. As a maths undergraduate student (going into my second year) I believe I can relate to the students, especially those in college/sixth form as it was not too long ago I was in sixth form myself. My teaching is adjusted to suit the person I am teaching.
I'm a graduate of Petroleum Engineering with a Second Class Honours (2:1) Upper Division. I started tutoring mathematics and physics after my undergraduate studies and I've been tutoring for not less than 4 years. I have experience from Highschool mathematics to undergraduate level in topics like: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, Ordinary level maths and A Level maths.
With full teaching certification by the HEA, my students are guaranteed a positive trajectory along their learning curve. I possess the patience and attentiveness every student deserve as well as the creativity to simplify complex material. Ample support is provided all the way till the evidence of enhanced knowledge is visible.
I am straight forward and to the point. I like to help children to understand the concept by doing practise questions. If they get the question wrong I can go with them how they got it wrong and how to make it right. At the start of tutoring I would like to start if with a maths test to see what level they are at (Depending on what school level they are).
Teaching students or mentoring staff at work is a challenging task as each individual has a different way of learning. I find satisfaction once I transfer my knowledge to others. You get more learning opportunities as a teacher. Mathematics has always fascinated me in many ways since I was a child.
for me , maths needs to be practice. i therefore give the opportunity with some easy step to apply the taught instructions in different scenario. this allows the learners to be very confident at the end of the session.i also set with my learner some strategy to succeed in their exam.
college student in engineering and accounting in PG and UG respectively, and i am good at maths, so i just want to teach some pupils or junior high school students about their math.
I will take time to evaluate the skills of any students I work with and assess their weak points which should be better developed for success in exams. I also think it's important to listen to a student's self-evaluation since they will often know their weakest points from work in school.
I am a very enthusiastic and motivated tutor. I am currently a Year 2 teacher working in a challenging school in Coventry. This has meant that I need to be creative and fun in my lessons to engage my class. This is a skill that I believe ensures that all of my tutoring sessions are equally fun and engaging and that the children feel inspired and motivated to learn.
I am a recent Medical Biochemistry (2.1) graduate that has a fair bit of experience teaching Maths to students up to GCSE in the past. However, given the nature of my degree, I am also very comfortable teaching Biology and Chemistry to students up to and including A-level status.
My name is Kevin, and I'm in my final year doing MORSE (Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, Economics) at Warwick University. I had my A-Level in Math, Further Math, Chemistry, Economics and I'm a straight A student back in Cardiff Sixth Form College. In addition, I hold a silver award for UK Senior Math Challenge.
I have a strong understanding of GCSE and A level Mathematics. As a tutor, my main aims are to make sure that the student develops a strong understanding of concepts rather than answering questions systematically. In order to do so, I prоvide аn engаging аnd infоrmаtive lessоn with deepened explanations tо my students.
I'm patient and understanding. I know that not everyone learns the same way so I adjust my explanations to suit the student. If you have particular areas that you would like to focus on, I can run through topics and examples until you’ve built up your confidence, or if you are unsure of where you struggle, I can run you though the syllabus systematically helping you to achieve your best grade.
With engineering experience, I build up on the basics to have a solid foundation in Numeracy, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus and Statistics. Use of technology is essential to seeing Mathematics in action in real life. This will bring students to see why Mathematics is important.
My teaching method is based around understanding the background of the topic. I feel that if you can understand why something works the way it does, it is easier for your brain to retain the information.
I am an engineering graduate who loves Maths so much. My tutoring vision is to make students feel comfortable with Maths and find it easy that they will love it as much as I do. My lesson structure would be personalised, depending on how well the student understands and master the subject.
I am a student pursuing an MSc in Economics at The University of Warwick, my current average is 72.3%, and i am expecting a distinction overall. My average is proof of the detailed understanding i possess of this subject. I think I am capable of teaching Economics at any level till Masters.
I try to base each lesson on what the student needs and wants, trying to make each lesson fun and enjoyable. I can take requests on which topic the student needs, work through the current syllabus with worksheets or past papers during the lesson.
I believe that the student should be first taught the theoretical base and the assumption of the problem, starting from theorems and proofs. Then, simple examples should give the student a glimpse of what these methods can do, in a fun and interesting way for the student, before solving complicated and more advanced exercises.
My name is Maximilian Morar and I am a 2nd-year Maths & Stats student at Warwick University. I am a cheerful, optimistic guy enjoying tennis, jazz music and grapes, great conversations, and books. I have genuine warmth and a natural enthusiasm when it comes to investing in people, especially in pupils.
Given the cumulative nature of Maths, I understand the frustration of having gaps in your foundation knowledge which leads to students just memorising formulas and rules.
I work to engage pupils interest by showing how how mathematics knowledge can be applied to solve real-world problems. I start by assessing pupil's understanding of and ability to apply the mathematical topics being covered and then use a variety of approaches to correct misconceptions, develop a deeper understanding, allowing them to apply this to new scenarios.
While at school (in year 12 and 13) I ran a GCSE science club for 20 students by myself where I used to prepare resources in order to tackle challenging topics in their syllabus (GCSE specification) and help the students overcome their challenges.
My approach is thorough, but patient, as I want my students to gain an in-depth understanding of the subject so that they are able to achieve to the best of their ability. I am also adaptable to my students when teaching - one method doesn't necessarily fit all. As a further mathematician, I am able to teach A-level maths comfortably having completed the full two-year course in just a year.
My approach is a positive one. I am very encouraging, allowing students to feel like they can do what they may at first glance feel they can’t. I give students the feelig if a can do attitutde allowing them to be successful at whatever level they are learning at.
