I have only just started being a Mathematics Tutor but I have tutored a couple of people before. I would test the student first to know their strength and weaknesses and then turn their weaknesses into strengths. After I would test them every so often to see if they have progressed.
I aim to follow the requirements of the current national curriculum and tailor my delivery to the requests of the student. I use a variety of resources to include Internet resources , exam board sample resources.
My teaching style is flexible, as I understand what it's like to need help in something you don't quite understand. Therefore, I prefer to let my students ask the questions and choose the topics that they are struggling with, as this way they can improve on their weaknesses and hence maximise their grades.

I use a variety of teaching and learning strategies to enhance learning. I like the use of some online quizzes as plenaries to assess learning.
My teaching methodology is to tailor my approach to each student and their particular skillset and demands. I am a highly adaptable student with 10 years of experience in tutoring a range of abilities and ages and have resultantly equipped myself with the skills to maximise success for each individual tutee.

Mathematics and Physics are very structural. I tend to to fill the missing holes of knowledge which are the base for understanding the new material. It is not hard to understand when the lessons are explained in a proper and patient manner.

I also encourage the use of internet to study as I believe it is the best learning tool out there.
My teaching style is based on facilitation and creating an intellectually stimulating environment. I am easy-going, supportive and a good listener, and I hope to inspire students to feel accepted, comfortable, and enjoy the process of learning. My aim is to instill a love of the subject in the student.
My teaching is based on providing a solid understanding of the topics by implementing the teaching into real-life problems. The lessons would consist of the explanation of the topic and its application in the form of pre-written examples to be solved in class as well as homework. Lessons will always be structured with theory covered first followed by simple questions to help students understand theory and finally leading up to homework questions which will be difficult exam questions that will cement the theory and help the student grasp a real understanding of the work. Practice makes perfect.
My teaching method is where I plan out activity and then see how far they are in this type of subject and then analyse what to do for the next lesson leading to a progressing and coherent learning.
Many have described my teaching as one of the best and I have set my price very low. I understand exactly what is needed for students and I offer the best support and if any problems arise, you can always contact me outside of the lesson; a service many other tutors do not offer.
I'm a second year engineering undergrad with some spare time. I thought I might use this time to help people out. I have an A* in GCSE maths and found it to be very easy. I understand that not everybody does. Which is why I think I might be able to help :) My lesson structure would depend on the needs of my tutee.
Having studied at prestigious universities, my aim is always to assist students to fulfil their own dreams and potential. I have tried and tested various methods on how best to learn, myself and through analysing how my students learn, and I believe that teaching and studying should be catered to each individual. As such, I address my student's specific needs e.g.

I am an Undergraduate studying Computer Science at the University of Birmingham with A levels in Mathematics, Computer Science and Economics. I am looking to give maths tutoring to secondary school pupils up to GCSE level.
My teaching method depends on the student. I evaluate their needs and compare them with their strengths and weakness and with that see how to approach the issue. Usually, the method I would choose is to learn by with time, fully understand thing requires time and cannot be rushed so planning how to approach a study topic requires establishing manageable goals.
I aim to make every lesson engaging, but also have an element of difficulty to encourage you to push yourself to the very best of your ability. Usually, each lesson will focus on one topic which we will go through in depth, and then I will give you a selection of questions to complete with me, as well as some to do on your own.

I have been tutoring Math for 6 years. I have tutored many individuals, from children with learning difficulties to University students, from 8 to 26 years old. Every student I have tutored has accomplished their goals. My greatest pride is when my students surpass the need for a tutor and understand how to learn on their own.
I will delivery a lesson in a different way. With a complex problem, I always came with different way to solve it and try to use the simplest way to make sure my students can have a deep understand of the problem and be able to apply it to other similar problems.
