About Maariah
My name is Maariah, I am 16 and I really enjoy English. It has always been a passion of mine starting in my early years of primary school and I hope to be able to share this passion with you. English Literature can be quite an intimidating subject because it’s not one you can learn the night before but rather it is a skill to be developed
I hope to be able to help you enhance this skill and make lessons an enjoyable experience :)

- Macbeth
- Jane Eyre
- An Inspector Calls
I am able to teach these books and exam techniques for the GCSE English Literature exam
I can also teach effective methods to revise these texts
English is quite a flexible subject and so I am able to curate lessons depending on what a student struggles with and hopefully be able to help them understand their texts better
I have previously tutored a student who has made a progress of 2 grades in my time during year 11 and I hope that now that progress can be easier to obtain as I have developed my own studies and understanding since I have completed my GCSE course
Lessons will be around an hour long :)
