About Sha
I currently teach chess at schools across the U.S. and have online students from diverse locations such as Los Angeles, Oxford, Dubai, and Hong Kong.
My chess journey began at age 5, and I graduated from the renowned Chess Academy of Armenia, where I trained under Grandmasters from Armenia and other countries. My passion and dedication to the game have earned me numerous national and international tournament victories.
At 17, I shifted my focus to teaching, earning a Teaching License from the Ministry of Education and the President of the Chess Academy. My mission is to instill a love of chess in my students, whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills.

Join me for personalized online chess lessons on Zoom, utilizing ChessBase and Lichess. Our sessions cover strategic planning, tactical vision, opening theories, and endgame techniques. My primary aim is to ensure you enjoy both the learning process and the game itself.
Each class is customized to fit your unique needs. In our initial session, we'll assess your current chess level to decide if we should begin with the basics, focus on calculations, or dive into in-depth analysis. This first meeting also allows us to get acquainted and ensure you find our lessons enjoyable and beneficial.
We'll conclude each lesson by discussing ways to continue improving your chess skills independently. I'll provide you with resources and tips for effective self-study and practice.
