About Carla

My teaching methodology is based on the individual preferences of the student and how the student thinks and learns . I always try to get the students to be passionate about the subject at hand and get them to ask many questions as I believe that developing an emotional connection with the material is key to learning and memorizing. I also try to involve all the senses when I explain a topic , by incorporating videos , for visual and auditory learning along with my own explanations as well as practical examples where the students can physically touch materials being discussed , like using plastic toys to represent molecules for instance . I believe learning should be enjoyed and that I am equipped to spark inspiration for my students
