About Kendra
My name is Kendra. I am a mom of a 16-year-old daughter. We are a busy softball family. I graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo with my Bachelor’s in K-6 Teaching and my Master’s in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. I have been teaching for 12 years, with this being the first year I decided to take a break for family reasons. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, with most being in 2nd and 3rd. I absolutely LOVE teaching!

I am a very engaging teacher that loves to have fun while still providing a very systematic approach to learning how to read and write. I teach new phonics rules, use word chains, practice heart words, and tie it all in to books at your level. I also teach games that can be played at home for extra practice.
