About Victor
I have worked in special education for 4 years, working with students who have profound learning disabilities. I have experience in helping students of all backgrounds learn and succeed in ways that they didn’t even know they were capable of. I love to teach students and help them to grow by meeting them where they’re at with their learning needs and helping them to believe they can accomplish their goals!

I want to get to know my students to help gain a baseline of how to engage them in their learning. I believe that the adage “children don’t care what you know unless they know that you care” is more true now than it has ever been! I believe that students learn best when they can find enjoyment in it, so I will aim to build a rapport and trust with the student, while keeping focused on the tasks and goals.
My lessons would consist of a warmup/ice breaker to get things started. I also will frequently review previous lessons to scaffold learning to help students to meet standards of learning for school. As I get to know each students’ learning style, I will adapt the lessons to meet their individual learning styles and needs.
