My teaching method is target driven and individual to each student. As a graduate with tutoring experience I am comfortable teaching students aged 8 and above.
My teaching method has a building block structure, beginning with the most basic form of each concept, we build on the complexity and finer details, with supporting practice to ensure full understanding and confidence to tackle questions/topics in the future.
I am a graduate with a degree in Biomedical Science and a Masters in Haematology and Transfusion Science. I have been giving lessons alongside my own study for six years and have experience of both private tutoring and working in tuition centres. I have supported students in preparation for Year 6 SATs, with all achieving their targets if not exceeding expectations, guided students through KS3 study and GCSE's with all students achieving A*-C targets and mentored A-level students in achieving their target grades. I can support students in Mathematics to GCSE standard and English and Science to A-Level and undergraduate study respectively. In addition, I have experience in grammar school entrance exam tuition.
