About Harmione
I started writing at the age of ten, and have continued that passion all through middle school, high school, and college. I was accepted into an early college program in Colorado and placed into college-level English at the age of 14. By the time I was 18, I was a published poet and was working on a full-length novel. I have had essays posted in my college newspaper and I have done multiple public readings of my work. Because of my pregnancy and marriage, I have taken a break from college, but I am only three semesters away from a Bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis in creative writing. My lack of a piece of paper with a degree on it is not any reason for doubting my passion and education on writing or ability to teach the topic. I am a fun and encouraging person, who can ensure a growing confidence in your writing while making the tutoring process enjoyable. I would love to work with anyone looking to increase their skill and view on writing!

I have loved creative writing and poetry since I was a child and have pursued that passion in high-school and college. While I had to take a break from college for my baby, I am educated and qualified to teach these topics to middle school and high school students with a desire to improve their skill. My lessons will incorporate the provided assignments from my students teachers, while also giving exercises that involve said students passions and desired topics. I am an optimistic and patient person with past tutoring experience that will ensure confidence and fun for my students while increasing their skill and love for writing.
