About Tammy
I have worked within in a variety of classroom settings over thirty-five years. My areas of concentration have always been in the area of English Arts I have worked with students requiring a more individual approach and students with an IEP. I am also comfortable working with those students in a larger classroom setting who are struggling with the material presented to them. I have also worked with students in individual and small group settings.
As a teacher, I worked in my settings of a classroom. I began my career as a teacher of students with special needs in a self contained and later in a resource class setting. I have also worked in inclusion settings where students with special needs were in the "regular" class setting and then later as the sole teacher in a "regular classroom" setting.

I am a retired teacher looking forward to working with students in a one to one environment here on line. I have always loved getting to know my students and meeting them where they most need assistance.
I would be most comfortable working with studnets in elementary through middle school age, seventh grade being the higher end of my area of best instruction.
I would work with you on material you are currently working on in school as well as focusing on areas where you feel the most need. I will work in the subject areas of English Arts, reading, comprehension, grammar, etc. I look forward to watching you grow and reach your goals as a reader or writer.
