About Nicole
I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2021 with a degree in Chinese and Linguistics, so I know how hard it can be to learn a second language. I want to take the skills that I have learnt throughout my degree and my career to help people feel excited about learning English, helping them to get through any problems they come across on their language-learning journey with ease. I have a passion for language, and now work in the Communications field, writing newspaper articles, helping people write their own content, proofreading and more. However, I've missed teaching a lot so decided to make a SuperProf account!

I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2021 with a degree in Chinese and Linguistics, so I know how hard it can be to learn a second language and how important it is to find a language learning technique that works for you. Through my Linguistics degree and my TESOL qualification, I've learnt a range of techniques that will help you from the building blocks of grammar to perfecting your pronunciation. I have mostly taught English as a second language to children aged between 5 and 16. I'm also open to teaching adults. As a Communications professional, I can help with proofreading, email writing practice, building your CV and more. The contents of the class will depend on your age, interests and English level. I offer lessons of 30, 45 and 60 minutes.
