About Gunika
As an experienced academic English tutor with a passion for language and education, I bring three years of valuable teaching experience to the table. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels, allowing me to develop a well-rounded understanding of effective teaching methods.
In addition to my tutoring experience, I have also had the opportunity to work with the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario, where I honed my skills in creating engaging and dynamic learning environments. Working with the YMCA has allowed me to foster a sense of community among my students, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and mutual support in the learning process.
I hold a bachelor's degree in English Honours from a prestigious university, which has provided me with a deep understanding of language, literature, and effective communication. This educational background allows me to offer a comprehensive and nuanced approach to teaching English, integrating both theoretical and practical aspects into my lessons.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to create a personalized learning experience for each of my students. I recognize that every student has unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles, and I tailor my teaching methods to address their individual needs.
