About Trishala
I have been a volunteering teaching assistant in the past and I have tutored and worked with students age 3 to 16. I have worked with large groups but I like to work with smaller ones and prefer one-on-one tutoring. I believe in facilitating more than teaching and work towards creating a nurturing environment for all learners. I aspire for a career in teaching, which I believe is the most radical job there is. I believe that learning should be accessible and promise to do my part in contributing to my best capacity.

I am a postgraduate student currently pursuing my Masters in South Asian Studies. I have a degree in English Language and Literatures. I can tutor up to the degree level. My lesson is structured based on the needs of the student, taking into consideration how they can learn best. My preferred mode of teaching is through interactive discussions and making efficient notes but I wish to remain flexible with the student's needs and how they prefer to be taught and how they best retain information.
