About Chipp
I am a LLB Law with Commercial Law specialisation graduate living in London, I’ve always been very interested in humanities subjects, History, Philosophy, Ethics, and Religion specifically, and always found that the analytical reading and writing aspect was the most difficult. I’d love to be able to help students who are struggling with this, or just want to know where to improve with their work, and most importantly how they can go on to implement what they learn when studying independently.

Together we will go through whatever material has been presented to be studied, whether it be a book, article, essay and learn how to analyse and critically articulate an opinion on the material. An essential process for humanities study with an emphasis on essay writing. In lessons we will make a plan for the student to be able to independently work after the lesson has ended. By going through examples and learning how to allocate time properly the student will be able to become vastly more efficient when independently studying. Since GCSEs I have been writing analysis essays on material, notably getting 103/120 on one of my A Level papers, the highest in the school, and commended multiple times in essay competitions. There is a formula to writing strong academic literature, with half the struggle understanding what it is that needs to be seen in the text, no matter the subject. This is what I hope to be able to teach the student to do, and when successful they will excel in their chosen subjects.
