About Rebecca
I am a first year Trainee Solicitor with a top Scottish law firm, a first class LLB Law with English Law 2020 graduate, and DPLP 2021 graduate and prize winner, with a host of experience with successful essay writing both at school and university level. Law is an essay based subject, and so with every module essays were required to be written. I also have experience working with and helping school students with editing and improving their writing capabilities through participation in the Aberdeen Law Project, aiding students in composing their personal statements for admission to university through UCAS.
I have also helped a law student go from failing her degree to graduating with a 2.1 through my tuition. Anything is possible!

My teaching method includes teaching by example. Essay writing can be tricky at first; with practise it becomes second nature but it’s only essay if you know how (as the saying goes!). Therefore, by showing examples and then having easy templates to follow can help to hone the essay writing skill. I also believe that editing with the student is important, giving live feedback, reasons for such feedback and crucially, how to improve is absolutely vital.
