About Akshatha
I am Akshatha, a Bengaluru-based writer. I run a blog, enjoy reading all kinds of books from Shakespeare to Rick Riordan, and cooking for family and friends.
I am a lawyer by training, and hold a BA LLB Honours degree as well as an LLM in International Law, both of which require English proficiency. However, I am an educator by vocation, and have taught many students part-time during my courses. I love to help people learn and share knowledge, and to think up new, better ways to facilitate learning!

We will first spend some time assessing your proficiency level, gauging your learning style, and understanding your goals. We will then spend most of the class going over the concepts that are required for you to reach your goals and grasping their nuances. The latter part of the class will involve testing your understanding of these concepts and filling any gaps.
I firmly believe there is no such thing as a stupid question, and welcome challenges as an educator. I also enjoy finding creative ways to help you understand the material, and recognize the importance of making you feel at ease during a class.
Since I am at an A1 proficiency level, with experience in teaching basic literacy to elementary school students as well as helping graduates pass exams such as IELTS and TOEFL, you are welcome to approach me for a class regardless of your age or proficiency level!
