About Marc
I have had expereince tutoring children from ages 5 to 16 and adults (no age restrictions!) and I have experience in photography, textiles, ceramics and sculpture work but my main passion at the moment is large-scale street art mural work. I have worked extensively with other creative individuals and groups (charities, schools and corporations) through my collaborative platform called Psychodoodlz. I have a deep passion for Abstact Painting, that amazing consuming process of using your creativity to make something epically poetic as you connect to that strange vast energy that seems to direct you at each stage. I have used my skills in creative advocacy to aid enhancing this process in all art forms for all the kinds of artists but Abstract Painting, especially through collaboration, is where my inspiration likes to explore and have fun.

As a Creative Advocate and a practicing artist I am very well aware of what it means to work in an artistic capacity. I have had over 20 years experience in the creative industries and I am a huge fan of collaboration and have learnt that coupled with sustainability and engagement it is a driving force that will upgrade any creative project. Collaboration can come directly through sharing the creative stage and the resources or indirectly through being a Creative Advocate. In a nutshell consider the Creative Advocate as being in the guise of a creative wing-buddy, someone who has been through creative challenges who can guide you practically (the physical process of making a painting dealing with art medium and application) and spiritually (the unavoidable creative connection with something 'beyond' yourself) to your goal of making a great piece of artwork. In this regard it is an Abstract Painting but I am flexible enough to cater for any expression of art. The old foes like procrastination, the internal-critic, creative block, perfectionism and disconnection (amongst others) are as ancient as they are universal. Many creatives have followed the path and have left great insight in dealing with these challenges that keeps you on the right track. The journey is the destination and I will help you get to the final moment when you can stand back, take a deep breath and say, "It's finished'. I also offer practical help with dealing with galleries, social media and alternative avenues to connect creatively. I look forward to hearing from you.

Details
I am aware that artists are unique in what they are after so the first session is always free to allow for you to see if you are comfortable working with me and feel that I am able to give you the support you are after.
I can work from my home in Croydon or I am willing to travel (with a extra charge of £5 per visit). If you ever feel that you are wanting more than a 1 hour slot I am happy to increase this to a maximum of 3 hours for one session (note the first free session is only 1 hour in length and will require £5 towards travel).
I can offer discount on a pack of lessons booked in one payment, see above.
I can also offer Street Art workshops at Leake Street near to Waterloo Station coupled with a Street Art tour of Shoreditch, max 10 people and inclusive of materials at £350 (lasts 4/5 hours).
