Collaboration is at the heart of my teaching style, planning the sessions around the student's needs. I try to provide various engaging activities that aim to improve their creativity and writing skills and consolidate their knowledge. By running through the syllabus and mark scheme, I ensure that my students can confidently apply their learning to formal exam questions, producing nothing less than is being asked of them. I am happy to set out-of-session tasks and to provide feedback, since I believe constant feedback to be of high importance. Having gone through secondary school and A-levels, I can also advise students on how best to use their time outside of the sessions.
I am a prospective Comparative Literature student at UCL studying French as part of my degree, with A-levels in English, French and History. Subjects that particularly interest me are Shakespeare, close-reading and contextual and comparison study, therefore making me more suited towards secondary, GCSE and A-level pupils. I work hard to make sure I am as helpful to my students as possible and that they gain maximum benefit from the sessions.
