About Daniel
Math has always been one of my strongest abilities. Across more than a dozen standardized math exams and competitions, I consistently scored in the 99.9th percentile—the highest percentile reported.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Physics from George Washington University and my MBA/MSIA from Carnegie Mellon University. I later spent three years teaching GMAT preparation to college graduates and young professionals, completing more than 800 hours of classroom instruction, along with hundreds of hours of private math tutoring for students ranging from age 6 to 60+.
Among my favorite results were coaching two younger teens to perfect 800 scores on the SAT Math Level 2 Subject Test. My tutoring work with one of my star students was also featured on the NBC4 Los Angeles Evening News.
I bring more than 1,000 hours of teaching and tutoring experience, strong mathematical ability, and years of experience working with students at very different ages and skill levels.

Math has always come naturally to me. I help students identify the basic elements in a problem and see how they interrelate. From there, solutions often flow easily. I’ve taught individual students and classes for more than 1,000 hours, including coaching two students to perfect 800s on the SAT Math Level 2 Subject Test, and was featured on NBC4 Evening News in Los Angeles.
