About Melina
Hi! I'm Melina, and I invite you to discover the wonderful world of music theory, songwriting and vocal technique. I believe that mastering the theory, the practice and the different techniques gives you the musical power to achieve any goals you have. During the last three years I have been working on musical theater and contemporary music performances as well as a music composer for different drama plays. I also develop myself as a soloist, writing, arranging and performing my own songs. I find in tutoring a place where I can help new artists to grow and also learn from them. Come and join me! Classes can be both in English and Spanish!!

For every musician, music theory is the language that allows us to communicate with each other and create. In the same way when we were children we learn how to read and write, we should do the same with music. During these lessons, students will learn music notation, sight reading and harmony. I teach solfege, Kodaly and movable do. We can either learn all methods or choose the one that suits you better for your musical needs. Each lesson can be 30 minutes or 1 hour long. I guarantee that learning musical theory will give you more confidence to talk and play with other musicians. Knowledge is power.

Perfect! Extraordinary explanations that break down new or complex concepts for a beginner like myself simple and easy to digest. Don’t come though I barely make it on her schedule right now busy as she is let alone having more students.
