Maria is an awesome tutor of Modern Greek, because her broad knowledge of both Classics and Linguistics puts what she teaches into perspective. She is willing to explain the origin of any given Modern Greek word, which turns the learning process into something even more enjoyable and fulfilling. She is very kind, patient, punctual yet flexible regarding appointments. I definitely recommend her as a tutor, because she has made my learning of Modern Greek a very pleasant and rewarding experience.
I employ Maria as English-Dyslexia tutor to my 10 year old son who has both Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Dyslexia. She has been very punctual, knowledgeable and helpful. She has excellent knowledge about dyslexia and helped my son to go from level 3c to 3a within a very short period of time. She is also able with IT and computer software for dyslexic children.
Maria is a very kind and personable teacher with an excellent ability to teach modern Greek to an advanced level. I found her classes highly enjoyable and her tutoring style appropriately flexible so as to accommodate the right balance of reading, writing and oral skills to suit my needs. Highly recommended!
