About Jade
I have always loved science from a young age and knew I wanted to study it at university. However, when I was at school, I didn't always get the best grades and I would get frustrated by exam questions and I would struggle to get the answer from my head to paper. Over the years, I worked on this and have proved to myself that I am good at science. I am now a marine biologist with a bachelor's degree in Zoology and a master's degree in Marine Mammal Science. When I think back to myself at school, I could never have imagined where I would be now and I wish I had more confidence in my abilities! So I am a tutor now as I would love to help other students in my position and help them succeed in the careers they dream of!

In my lessons, I like to establish a good understanding of the general topic using videos and diagrams. Then, I like to focus on exam technique and key words to ace those questions and feel confident for upcoming exams!
I have 5 years of experience tutoring GCSE Science students, but I can teach all ages. My lessons are usually around an hour but I'm happy to book longer ones if needed.
As someone who has benefited from tutoring, I know how important these extra lessons can be, and I have seen firsthand how they can improve grades. I am keen to help those who are struggling and feeling underconfident. I know that everyone has the ability to succeed, it's just about finding the right teacher and learning method.
