About Kaushiki
Hi, I'm Kaushiki! I'm a writer, editor, and marketing strategist with an MSc in Marketing from Trinity College Dublin, and I've spent the last eight years writing and editing content for big global brands like TikTok and Talent Garden. Writing has basically been my whole career. I've worked on everything from research-heavy reports to executive presentations, and my favorite part is always turning something complicated into something clear and easy to read.
I know how scary a blank page can feel, whether you're stuck on a thesis chapter, racing an assignment deadline, or trying to write a CV that actually gets noticed. That's where I come in. I keep sessions relaxed and structured, so you always know what we're working on and why. I love helping people find their own voice on the page, and it doesn't matter if English is your first language or your third, or if you're a student or a working professional. You'll leave every session with a stronger piece of writing and a better sense of how to do it yourself next time.

About my tutoring approach
I help students and professionals write with clarity, structure, and confidence, whether that's polishing an essay, shaping a thesis argument, or building a CV that actually gets read. My background is in content strategy and marketing, where I've spent 8+ years turning complex ideas into writing that's clear, persuasive, and tailored to the reader. I bring that same lens to tutoring: strong writing isn't about sounding impressive, it's about being understood.
My methodology
I start by understanding what you're working on and where you're stuck, whether that's structuring an argument, finding your voice, tightening grammar, or just getting past a blank page. From there, I use a mix of:
- Guided drafting: we work through your own writing together rather than me rewriting it for you, so you build the skill, not just the output
- Structure-first editing: outlining and organizing ideas before polishing sentences, since most weak writing is a structure problem, not a grammar problem
- Real-time feedback: line-by-line review during the session so you understand the why behind every suggestion
- Practical frameworks: for essays and theses, I use argument-mapping techniques; for CVs, I focus on outcome-driven, ATS-friendly language
Lesson length
Standard sessions run 45–60 minutes, which is usually enough to work through one essay section, a CV draft, or a thesis chapter outline. For longer pieces (theses, dissertations), I also offer 90-minute deep-dive sessions.
My experience
I hold an MSc in Marketing from Trinity College Dublin and have spent my career writing and editing for global audiences, from technical how-to content to executive presentations — across companies like TikTok and Talent Garden. I've mentored junior writers professionally and have a strong grip on both academic and professional writing conventions, including plagiarism-aware paraphrasing and citation basics.
