About Znw

I guide beginners, students, and career changers to understand and apply UX and digital design skills with confidence. If design software feels overwhelming or you’re unsure how professional designers approach projects, I provide clear, practical lessons to help you build real skills and creative confidence.

I am a full-stack UX/UI designer and design consultant (and a Personal trainer amongst other things! ) with more than 23 years of professional experience, and a Ravensbourne University graduate in Interaction Design. Based in London and working as a digital nomad, I bring a global perspective to my teaching and can adapt lessons for students anywhere in the world.

My professional work spans UX, UI, digital design, motion graphics, e-learning, branding, 3D, immersive experiences, and VR. I’ve collaborated with organisations such as Bentley, Panasonic, HP, Microsoft, PwC, and the British Museum, and my UX/UI work recently helped Qualrisk gain selection for Lloyds Labs Cohort 14.

If you’ve ever been in a Bentley Mulsanne, used HP or Panasonic products, or attended SaaSCC or Diriyah, chances are you’ve already interacted with my work.

Note: Some reviews on this profile are from my personal training lessons, but my UX and digital design teaching is based on extensive and active professional experience and real-world projects.

About the lesson

All lessons are online and tailored to your experience and learning goals. We begin with core fundamentals and progress toward practical, real-world applications, giving you a full understanding of how professional designers work.

I teach tools and skills including Figma, XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Rhino 3D, Cinema 4D, Sketch, and conceptual design.

Lessons focus not only on mastering the software, but also on developing your design thinking, problem-solving, and workflow skills, so you can confidently approach real projects.

Lessons are £75 per hour, including screen sharing and hands-on exercises.

Beyond design execution, much of my career has been spent navigating complex client relationships, high-pressure environments, and challenging stakeholders.

This experience is central to how I teach. I go beyond tools and software to focus on what actually matters in real-world design: how to communicate with clients, explain your thinking clearly, handle pushback, and navigate difficult or stressful conversations without losing confidence or control of a project. These are skills rarely taught in courses, but they are the result of 23 years of consultancy experience.

I also help students recognise good clients versus bad ones, set boundaries, and choose projects that are realistic and aligned with their capabilities

I offer a free initial consultation to discuss your goals and ensure the lessons are the right fit.

Ibn Zee has helped me to sharpen my graphic design skills. He has taught me to think critically and solve problem for each design. I had done multiple design successfully with his guidance, which helped me through all the design process. He has given so many tips/tricks for me to improve, and encourage me to keep trying different solutions and looking at the design from multiple angle to achieve the best. He made me realize it is important to have a timeless design with purpose and meaning. Most importantly, he truly cares and are very patient.
